"People who should have died"...? Isn't that more a subjective thing than anything else? Personally, I don't think any of them really deserved death. *shrug* They all did their part in trying to fix the world. Not all of them succeeded, and often they ended up doing some bad things, but in general I'd say they didn't deserve to die.

i think he means people like gillford and cornellia who "LOOKED" like they died only to come back later for no reason
not so much deserve to die as brought back to life by the plot for no reason

Yes, exactly. It really stretches belief in some cases. Cornelia was shot in the back with machine gun fire, and while her ending up on Horai makes sense when you look at the timeline, why is no one ever told what Schneizel is up to? Guilford, I don't even need to go into. Even Nunnally, who arguably left after Lomeyer. It just strikes me that they were trying too hard for the ultimately happy ending for everyone.

That's an argument for a different time. What I meant is above. Some people really cheated karma, though.

nunnaly and sayoko also count
although in nunnaly's case she DID have SOME importence to the plot
cornellia and gillford, not so much

Oh, nevermind then XD

Yeah... Cornelia and Guilford. That was such a cop-out on Sunrise's part.

R2 feels like, along with the Gundam Seed series, Sunrise trying to shake off the Kill 'em All reputation of Tomino. A lot of people who should have stayed dead did not.

Except Orange-kun. Orange-kun cannot die. LOYALTY IS ETERNAL. ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!

Orange-kun is the FIRST example of this stupid trend
he was SUPPOSE to die in ep 10, but they brought him back becouse he was "popular"
which may have been nice, but its also a stupid way to write a story
and sayoko becoming a ninja later on was becouse she's popular
thats part of why R2 was such a train wreak, they spent too long giving a shit about what the FANS want to see, and not enough focus on the story that they wanted to tell

Except Jeremiah made his return appearance during the Black Rebellion at the end of season 1.

I didn't know Sayoko was already that popular though. No matter, the ninja thing was enjoyable.

This was a cool anime series, it sucks that it's over now.

I think that the Code Geass V.A.s did a good job compared to most other American animes.

I like how JYB was lelouch, although Yuri wasn't the best choice for suzaku, IMO.

I thought Yuri was pretty good as Suzaku, actually. I don't like his Sasuke voice, but his Suzaku voice is kind of... sexy.

I was wondering if the Pizza Hut ads, that was blocked out of the Adult Swim line up, appeared in the DVD version? Also, does the DVD have the Japanese language option?

Hmm...I don't remember about the pizza hut logos, but the DVDs do have the Japanese language as an option.

The only anime dubbing company that wouldn't have the Japanese language version on series DVDs would be the embarrassment that is 4Kids, I believe.

The Pizza Hut logos were edited out of the R1 release entirely. I haven't listened to the Japanese audio yet on the DVD, but I do know the mentions of Pizza Hut in the audio commentaries end up censored out.

I wonder why they would end up removing the Pizza Hut ads from the show? There added a unique touch to the show. I certainly hope that the Japanese R1 release of the DVD has them. Otherwise, I would have to go through the trouble of importing them from Japan directly.

You do know that the sole reason they where added was because Pizza Hut was a sponsor right?
