Code Geass would make an awesome musical since it already lends itself so well to being bombastic and operatic. Hell All Hail Britannia (the song I mean) is practically like something out of a musical already and Zero's theatrics as well.

It was mentioned by Lelouch's Voice Actor that three episode scripts for the original version of Code Geass R2 was completed, prior to the announcement that the show's latenight timespot would be changed to the evening timespot. And the production team was told to rewrite the story to make it easy on the new viewers who might not have watched the first season of the show. This is where the original continuation for season two was scrapped and where the one year time skip began.

In addition, I still feel that a lot of important details for season two was removed. While Code Geass R2 was successful, for those who have watched it with great fanfare. However, for those who have decided to watch season one, after watching season two, would find the show's format to be quite different from season two. This is where it gets complicated because the fans now realize that the show's respected seasons don't blend well together, as far as the story's logic is concerned. I'll leave it at that.

Overall, the success of Code Geass R2 has given the creators the option to produce another Code Geass project. They could re-create the original version for Code Geass R2 that picks up where Season One left off, or not. But it's hard to appreciate the ending of the story when the viewer has learned that the intended format for Code Geass R2 was changed to accomodate a different audience. If I were in Taniguchi's situation, I would use this rare opportunity to bring forth the original version for Season Two that I was forced to abandon. If something doesn't feel right, you must fix the problem when the opportunity to do so becomes available. And what Taniguchi and Okouchi has is a very rare option to continue the Code Geass Project. Most anime creators never get this type of opportunity beyond their project's initial run. It would have to be a very successful series for an anime production company to take notice. And Sunrise recognized the Code Geass project team to give them the rare opportinity to continue its development.

TL DR, Darth. You've given us the exact same long-winded speech fifty times already. :| Perhaps making your thesis more concise would be of benefit.

Eh, I'll pick whichever girl strikes my fancy. Of course, according to the aforementioned CG laws, the sweet and innocent girl(s) is the one that's sure to die a miserable death. Even so, if she appeals to me, I'll root for her (I guess I'm just a masochist that way )

I can see it now...

Britannia was having trouble, what a sad sad story
Needed a new leader to return it's former glory
Where, oh where, was he?
Where could that man be?
We looked around and then we found the man for you and me
Aaaaaaand nooooooowwww it's...

Springtime for Charles and Britannia
Britannia is happy and gay
We're marching to a faster pace
Look out, here comes the master race!

Springtime for Charles and Britannia
Winter for Japan and France
Springtime for Charles and Britannia
Come on Britannians, go into your dance.

Of course! Normally... but when something has only been out for a couple of days, it can be difficult to find a good stream or download source. And i'm not the type to wait until it's widespread on the internet lol. As soon as there's a single source up on the internet I WANT IT!!!

And I don't know if there's any one site that will for sure have it on day one. Call me a noob if there's a well known website that ALWAYS has the latest anime.

Sure thing.

This has nothing to do with the topic of the thread though. The PM function exists for a reason.

lolwhat ?

I want Kallen as Sharpay in a CG HSM anyway.
I'd gladly give up on my Kallen/Lelouch canoness if this can spare Kallen from being Gabriella Pathetic Montez. (Lulu as Troy Bolton...come ooon :'D)

*off*

...Something like that ?

I don't want Code Geass to have anything to do with HSM, period! It's bad enough Lelouch's and Shirley's seiyuus did the Japanese voices for them (that is what you said, right D-KLAC?).

If Code Geass was to become a musical I'd rather it be something more classy, like Gilbert and Sullivan.

For he himself has said it
And it's greatly to his credit
That he is a Britannian

He remains a Briiiiiitaaaaaniaaaaan

Anyone seen the Bleach or Saiyuki musical.. that is what you should expect
The only word anyone would firstly hear and understand would be BRITANNIA!

Has anyone noticed from some of the pictures for Lelouch has the back of his hair a bit spread out, like when he was a child?
