Be kinda hard to explain a tattoo like that after Lelouch died (assuming Kallen let anyone get far enough to see it). What do you say in that situation? "Yeah, I was REALLY drunk, and got it on a dare."

Der, she's the eternal widow. It's to let everyone know that, even after his death, her heart (and boobage) belongs to him forever. And it actually shouldn't be too hard to see. Every time she wears a top that shows even a bit of cleavage it should be fairly visible.

Well, it's not like she normally wore clothes that showed off her cleavage by choice. Mostly when she was undercover (which is ironic considering the word undercover) and when Nunally gave the push-up dress.

after careful consideration i have come to a conclusion
after the final kallen works as a test pilot for the Ashfords

think about it
you have a company who was the pioneer KMF developers before the show proper
one of their greatest assets at the time was their test pilot: marianne the flash
they suffered greatly because of marianne's death and have been trying to rebuild themselves ever since
and now they have the finest knightmare pilot since marianne going to school IN THEIR ACADEMY
do you really think they wouldnt offer her a job

and kallen has to be looking for work at this point
she and her mother are living in a private house
her mother is still recovering and may be in need of medicine
then there is med-school to save up for
and kallen has a marketable skill in which she is the world's finest (since suzaku is "dead")
do you think she would turn down a job that lets her do what she very clearly enjoys doing and get paid well for it

its practiclly a match made in heaven

I don't know why, but i don't think Kallen still is the path of fighting, i can see her walking to another way, like being a nurse or a teacher, or even turning into public relations and getting to work with Nunnally...

I would go with teacher. It's the official job for eternal widows in anime. Besides, if they ever make a Code Geass R3, it would be nice to see Kallen teaching the new Zero kid, hahaha.

test pilot doesnt mean she goes fighting and killing again
she TEST pilots new development
nor is it a permanent thing

and what ever she may want to do in the future
right now she has to finish school AND take care of her mother AND pay the bills at the same time
cant be easy

Well, she came from a war, i'm sure she'll get some kind of money from the new government. Besides, Nunnally is in dah house, she probably gave money for Kallen's entire life.

The Ashfords don't make Knightmares anymore. That fell apart once Marianne died. They were just trying to get their status back.

If anything, Kallen receives payment from the Black Knights for her services during wartime, or at least got a generous severance package.

Why not? It's not like it's charity, she fought in a war and won. Nothing against getting a compensation from the government for it. In fact, i'm sure in the end she's already getting the money, since she's only a student and can't get a job to take care of her mom and Ashford probably wasn't a public school. Someone else has to take care of the bills for her, hehe.

Who knows maybe Lelouch left an large sum of money for Kallen XD. Same with her past services to the BK. Add Nunnally to the mix, its possible that she has an good amount of money. Going to an school like Ashford must be expensive and she's taking care of her mother all alone as well. The more I think about it the more I want to see more of Kallen's future.

Kallen being an doctor would fit pretty good for her in the future.

but THAT seems too far out there
lelouch (to our knowledge) didnt leave her so much as a "thank you" note and she had to figure everything out herself
i doubt a swiss bank account would be possible

on that topic
could we consider the possibility of her renewing her relationship with the Stadfelds ?
she is, to our knowledge, her fathers only child
if so, she would have LOTS of money
and any problems her family might had with her past actions should more or less vanish in light of the fact that she is now on a first name basis with the empress of britannia.

About the Stadtfelds, well no clue since she seemed to be by herself and left her old house. Too bad we have no info on her family.

Considering the standard mentality of anime japanese characters, for to restart a happy life, everybody first drop away EVERY thing connected with their past and the people they knew.

Then cut from knightmares and stadfteld family (dad) for to make a example.

I partially used that way, Kallen cut with the army, but at the same time she still work for the UNF like a sort of "agent" (Kaguya is her "boss"), but her paycheck is disguise like a caretaker paycheck.

At last her job for the government is the last thing, she's a multi-role woman:

1)Lelouch caretaker
2)housewife
3)house-manager
4)sweet mum
5)a fierce killer if somebody want hurt her husband.
6)UNF agent with surveillance job.

Not sure if Kallen would work for the government, you'd figure Lelouch's name would come a lot and in negative terms.

Though I suppose Kallen would be strong enough to have a thick skin about it.

she's also shown to be something of a KMF nerd (she knows about some of the ashofrd models that havent even been produced)
and her piloting skill is possibly the world's best
why would she turn down an offer to make money by doing what she would enjoy doing for free ?
as a civilain contractor with her reputation , i'd expect she'd have to beat job offers away with a stick

The only reason I'd say she wouldn't be piloting consistently is because it may bring back memories. Have a retired sniper test out sniper rifles would likely conjure up moments of war and all that comes with them good or bad. It also depends on how/if Kallen defines herself as a KMF pilot after its all said and done. You can argue she may never want to see a KMF again during peace time.

However if I recall correctly she didn't seem to be adverse to getting back into a KMF in the last PD.

I say it depends. If she wants a completely new lease on life after leaving Ashford then I don't see her hanging with the super robots for long. If she's for the lack of a better word "content" with the past present and future. Then it would be a reasonable occupation.
