I don't know... if memory serves correctly, Tachibana generally seems rather merry... the other two, though? Yeah, not very merry, indeed

The same could be said about Nagato... and technically Kyon...

Apparently gifninja is not a good way to make gifs out of video clips...it ends up creating huge ass files...

I managed to edit a clip of that one scene where Haruhi's climbing out of the pool, and I'm not sure how to turn into a reasonably sized Gif...

EDIT:Ok, I pasted this together in GIMP.
Spoiler for Haruhi pool gif:

You have 34 frames in that animation and at least half of them are repeats. Get rid of the identical ones to drastically reduce file size and then play a bit with color optimization if you desire to reduce the size even further.

The source looks a bit low quality, wich could make color reduction a no-go. Finding a better raw is also recomended.

Technically they're not. The extra ones are the light shimmering. Not sure how smoothly it would come off if the lighting frames weren't included...

This is about the best RAW I've been able to find so far.

The effect is pretty small on some frames (specially the second half). Removing them wouldn't affect the shimmering much on the whole.

<-->

The one on the left is the chopped one. It is mostly the speed of it that actually makes a difference here. Plus, you can actually chop one bright frame, then a not so bright one, keep alterning between the two and retain the shimmering to a certain degree.

Never a good idea to optimize and already optimized gif, btw.

Ah yes, just mentioned it in case you wanted to make a second version later.

Yep. That is much better looking.

Though yours seems to have the same clip 2-3 times at the end...

It's a frame delay of one second. Wich would be frame 18 in this case. I am uncertain how GIMP and gifninja works and I made the edit in PS. Who knows, maybe something got lost in translation between the programs.
