I repeat: Kotori seems practically programmed to hit all the MOE high notes at this stage---cute, innocently seductive, scatterbrained...

Looks like they're putting the full force of Studio 8 into this (getting staff from Horizon, AW, and Neragaku); it's going to look pretty amazing I think.

Why Studio 8 got all the job?

Other studio too busy working for Gundam and Geass?

I think it's mostly that other series have long running series; these data are like 3-months old but can get the point across.

Studio 1 --> UC
Studio 2 --> Boned
Studio 3 --> AGE
Studio 4 --> Geass
Studio 5 --> Kaiketsu Zorori movie, Gintama
Studio 6 --> T+B movie
Studio 7 --> Assisting AGE(?)
Studio 8 --> AW, Horizon, Neragaku, Love Live (the actual announcement was awhile ago so ...)
Studio 9 --> Battle Spirits, Binbougami
Studio 10 --> Phi Brain
Studio 11 --> Natsuiro, Aikatsu

AGE, AW, Horizon, BS, Binbougami, PB, Natsurio are all over "just now" (or soon) so ... the others were still keeping busy.

I am just surprised that Studio 8 had enough staff to run 4 series at once.

Not to mention pretty much all of them having pretty great productions values. Can't even imagine what it would look like if all 11 of them were to pool their resources into one show some day. Also worth mentioning that their CGI department D.I.D is working on Yamato 21991 at the moment so yeah Sunrise= teh business, yet half are about to go idle for the coming season.

Jc Staff really needs to learn some things from Sunrise.

But studio and company wise. Sunrise is bigger and hard to compete or compare. But still even a small studio can learn from them. Heck A-I is also doing lots of work but at least they don't cut loose on some scenes.

Phi Brain and Natsuiro have the most "quality" moments,is there a link to them being the last two studios or is that just a coincidence?

I'm not sure I'd consider A-1 a "small" studio

I'm not familiar on how big the studio is and I'm not familiar with most of studio. I only know. Sunrise has lots of money, Kyoani is a small studio that's had a big break in lucky star and fma then JC staff is not really a big company and probably a small company but dub as a generic factory of anime now a days.

So sorry if A-1 isn't really a small studio.

Any info on how big those company are o who are in the big leagues?

If running an animation studio is anythign like runnign most businesses, I'd imagine some members from the other studios would be "Seconded" to jobs in other studios. So I don't think the studios themselves are completely without work--they might just swap people around.

The gist of it is: You're being paid for one job when you're actually doing another. EG I'm aJanitor seconded to Sales. I get paid Janitorial wages but get no comission on sales that I get--I'm working as a sales person but paid for my original job. This means a company can have you work at one job but only pay you for another--usually a lesser paying one.

I liken A-1 to a Sunrise Lite. They seem to have a similar theory as to how they like to operate and the kinds of shows they prefer to do (It's no coincidence Accel World and SAO ended up airing around the same time), but as was mentioned earlier Sunrise just seems to love to cut loose at places other than the action scenes (especially studio 8) and the first episode of the show whereas A-1 seems to watch the wallet a little more so to speak. I've been pretty impressed with both of late though...well actually probably moreso A-1 since Sunrise has long been established as a go to studio for my preferences whereas A-1 I honest to god used to confuse with P.A Works of all studios up until about a year ago when they started taking on all these interest projects and it became clear that they have a strong financial backing and large scope/ambition.

Well, I had a pretty good run with idol shows this past year, no reason not to give this one a go as well, it's going to be some pretty nice eyecandy in any case.

I think it has more to do with how well scheduled and organized Studio 8 is rather than the number of staff they had. It always had the reputation of being always up to date with their productions and bringing out everything on time, so I think this is just proof on that.

Well, they are the ''youngest'', but bear in mind that Studio 10's productions usually are Weekends kids cartoons which don't really require all that much care in animation most of the time (yes, yes generalization ...) and Natsuiro was ... well, low priority to be perfectly honest, so I think there wasn't much attention given to it during it's run.

It's not like every studio doesn't have their fair share of quality moments, it just depends on how often and how important the series is. Generally, a Sunrise series is going to look good, with any coming from Studios 1, 2, 7 and 8 are usually going to look great most of the time.
