Well, consider the fact that if you read the novel in order, then by the time you reach that point, Laughing Coffin is just some PK guild that Kuradeel was a part of.

PoH, XaXa, and Johnny Black weren't introduced until 2-3 books later.

Yes, but that's not what I meant. At least, not completely. I know I was like 'wait, what?' on the first read, but Kirito's inner monologue succeeded in at least making us familiar with parts of the story. What worries me in particular is how anime will handle it. They have the advantage of already showing cameo appearances of LC members, but other than a lengthy flashback or something like it, I don't think there are many ways to explain Kirito's BSOD.

Assuming it gets done. We don't know that yet. But I'm sure hoping it happens.

It seems someone has already come up with the corrected hypotheses how Death Gun kills his victims.

I haven't ruled that out yet.
That was quick.

And someone else came up with the correct conditions which have to be satisfied for it to work.

1. there would be more then 1 Death Gun
2. real life name and address of the victim.
3. form ep1, the autopsy stated they found normal abnormal.

1 is easy,
2 would require either DG to be one hell of a hacker or someone who work for the GGO company.
3. what kind of weapon/ways of killing someone would undetectable to current autopsy techniques?

once someone came up with the hypotheses. You just need to come up with logical corresponding questions/conditions.

When I was reading the story I wasn't thinking in that direction and it came to me as a surprise when it was revealed.

same here.
i didnt even bother to think any theory or other shit when i was reading the novel.
its already hard to just imagine the scene you know, im a bad novel reader

but i think the difficulty level of death gun mystery is 1/10.

I agree with you on that one, it isn't a very complex mystery.

Still doesn't make it that easy to guess. Most people don't think of the simple solution at first.

its far easier than 100% of all detective conan's cases
maybe the level of difficulty of death gun mystery is same with danganronpa case 1. which is very easy

Phantom Bullet IMO comes across more as Sinon's character arc than a real murder mystery, though. It's better that in this case the key to the mystery is something simple than a horde of complicated explanations. Not brilliant, but not stupid either.
