I'm more interested in what happened to Ultear/Meredy, Gray looked shocked.
I'm also a bit interested abou that guild.
Don't give a damn about Jellal, always found him boring.

Poor Lucy, it really must be a shock... and wow, someone has actually died!

Hey, you remember Rob, right? Of course you don't. He was the old guy who taught Erza about Fairy Tail, and he got blown to dust in the Tower of Heaven.

Then there's Simon, the guy who had a crush on Erza, who took a fatal blow from Jellal.

And don't even think you forgot what happened to Zancrow or Hades, or all those other characters who were dead and buried before the series even started.

Last few pages had plenty of impact. Wow, poor Lucy. I'm expecting a flashback of the last six years of her Father's life. Tears are going to be shed.

Gray looked seriously shocked. I've no idea what could have happened.

I'm very interesting in finding out what's happened with Jellal. More so because it's Erza development, though there's a huge part of me that misses the classic Jellal jokes.

Well Hades was a recent exception but he is a baddy and death is normal for them. Lucy's father was not a very positive character either at first but he had change so he goes to goody list.

All this talk of killing off (or lack there of) characters reminds me; it's odd reading Rave Master (Mashima's previous work) after reading Fairy Tail since in the former a surprising amount of characters die, especially if you compare it to Fairy Tail. I wonder if Mashima had a change of heart when it comes to his characters' survival rate.

This chapter was quite funny (Lyon falling in love with Juvia was great) until the end. I think it hit harder due to the rather sudden change in mood.

Hmm... this chapter felt pretty good.

It's rather nice to see some nods to how some old characters are doing (eg.Totomaru), and Juvia's hilarious love-pandemonium is ever growing and hilarious. ( guess whoever's first impression was a threat is forever a threat in her love book. )

And a whole lot of plot set-ups and development. Sure feels nice.

p.s. Jellal is obviously not dead, however Mashima would try to spin it.

I'm somewhat surprised that Judo-san is dead. Sure he is a side-character and a good for nothing father. But why kill him of all people? It'll be much more interesting if someone in guild dies.

We all know if Jellal is mention dead, he'll just appear later with 100 clones.

Jellal being alive means carrying on Erza's development. I'm all for that.
