Feel free to discuss any music related subjects for Shin Sekai Yori here (OP/ED & OST, etc.). As the usual rule, NO POSTING LINKS TO MP3s OR ASKING FOR THEM. You may buy them at the usual place such as cdjapan and what not, but DO NOT ask for or post links to any music downloads. This includes, but isn't limited to:
This also includes links to YouTube videos NOT uploaded by the original artist. |

No idea as yet. The show's website has just updated today to confirm that the TV size version will be released on the soundtrack CD that's bundled with the first BD release, which suggests that there IS a longer version still to be released - but at the moment, we still have no idea when.

This is one of the most beautifully illustrated EDs I've seen in many a day. I wasn't enamored by the song at first because of the abrupt halts in the guitar line, but it has grown on me over time. The fireworks animations are the most photo-realistic renderings of fireworks displays I've ever seen in anime. I also admire the silhouettes and use of pastels. Just really lovely.

This series has the best ending this season by far. Took me two episodes in to realize how fantastic it is, but the whole thing is frighteningly captivating.
..and this the one we have to wait longest on. Damn it all.

I agree. Wareta Ringo just sounds so pretty, and I love the guitar in the background.
The lack of a full version release date really bothers me, though. For the time being, I'll just have to settle with this edited version:

About the music of the series, I think it's unfortunately one of its weak points. The main theme is fantastic, but most of the other tracks are terribly generic. The combat/action tracks are particularly tedious. |

Oh for f's sake. Talk about fanservice. Seriously, wtf guys, isn't this a bit too late to start pandering?
After this I don't have any hope left in the ED visuals. :/ I guess this will be one of those endings that I skip and pretend they don't exist. Last edited by kuromitsu; 2013-01-23 at 19:08. |

It's always been difficult to find a copy of the ED version of Wareta Ringo on sites like YouTube. I'm guessing Sony has been vigilant in requesting their removal. Unfortunately that seems to leave us with just this version. Visually it is incredibly boring. I wonder why it has apparently become the official version when the original is so strikingly beautiful? This one even has the TV Asahi logo on the bottom, but I don't recall seeing this version at all either on Crunchy or in fansubs.
