I don't think Nami and Usopp, or ANYONE in One Piece is ever going to get together as a couple, but you have to admit that Nami and Usopp have great chemistry. Some of my favorite moments ever in the series are when they're alone together.

I'm a bit frustrated there is no romance in One Piece, and at the same time, absolutely relieved there isn't because I'm usually disappointed in the pairing involved, or the horrible writing, or the wars between fans

And adventure > love!

But since it is really unusual to see an older woman paired with a younger man and I'm a sucker for unconventional love stories, I wouldn't be against ZoroxRobin or SanjixRobin.

I kind of like the idea of Zoro x Robin or Sanji x Robin. At least Robin seems patient enough to deal with Sanji's "problems".

Zoro, who is hot, cool and strong as hell.

Sanji, who turns in a real lap dog when a girl is around but who is also very kind and good looking.

Luffy, who is a nice, devoted to his friends, strong and uber powerful guy.

And beside all this great and incredible men, you have Usopp.

The poor, little, weak, bad looking and kind of pathetic Usopp.

Not really a dream boat.

And certainly not a possible love interest for Nami.

The other guys on the boat are too much better for that Usopp have a single chance.

Yea but Usopp is also the only one that isn't a space cadet on the whole ship. I won't pretend to know why girls like certain characters but I think Usopp has a following because he is probably one of the most forward thinking crew members.

Although he is a bit cowardly in the beginning of the season, he at least recognizes this fact and his character development is amazing in W7/EL. I'm a guy and Usopp is among my top 3 favorite characters in OP simply because he is like the crews "voice of reason" (along with Nami) and he is painstakingly aware of his own abilities but still willing to put his life on the line for the nakama he cares about.

When those kind of qualities make someone undesireable romantically, it inclines me to believe you are either fairly shallow or not experience enough with love. People love all sorts of people.

Yes, I am CosmicDebris, I post at AP under that name too. Nah,you didn't get me mad. Just certain people who are a bit immature and don't have a sense of humor.

As for the critique, I drew it my style, it was not intended to copy Oda. Although Nami's hair has changed in length and style a bit over the years.
I noticed that picture has gotten around, someone on 4chan put the text on it. It's flattering but at the same time annoying when someone takes your artwork and alters it/passes it around without giving credit.
