Will the characters like Crusty and Lenessia re-appear in Season 2 or are they out of the game now that Log Horizon is leaving the town?

Are they even leaving permanently?

The short, non-spoiler answer is that yes characters like that will re-appear in season 2, and Log Horizon hasn't seen the last of Akiba either.

I guess this is yet another place where hara-san doesn't agree with Mamare. If you look at volume one's illustrations, the game title is given as "Elder Tales":

I have a question that is bugging me to death. Does anyone knows the name of the girl who talks with Shiroe in his memories? And does she appear for real at sometime???

If not it's really a shame. To me she's the best girl even being just in his memories.

Her name is Kanami, she has her own spin off serie but she have yet to reach Yamato server.

we been over this before but if Kanami shows up in LH, she would basically take over the whole show. She would not be joining any guild but most probably you will see both West Wind and Log Horizon fold into her guild. If she decided to start a guild.

imo She is a combination of Luffy and Lucas Clyne.

hm, at least in the anime she seemed very fond of Shiroe so I could see Kanami joinning them. I would not mind if Log Horizon was to be absorbed by her guild either.

I can't deny the part about her taking over the whole show though.

Are there major differences between the light novel and the anime (also what about the manga)?

If there are major differences between the different mediums, how often do the adaptations (anime and manga) diverge from the light novel?

Slight censoring (blood/talks of rape), character interactions reduced by quite a bit (otherwise they wouldn't have been able to fit everything in), minor events modified/removed replaced by additional content from manga adaptations/original content. Plotwise it's pretty much identical though.

Thank you. I was confused because I read somewhere in Yahoo Answer that the manga's plot is significantly different from the light novel's, and I wasn't sure if the anime followed the original LN's story or the manga's.

the plot is the same but some scene are more devious or graphic which is not allowed in NHK. NHK are for kids.

What is that weird box-like thing that fits on Michitaka's arm? It looks like it's his hammer that somehow transformed, but I don't quite think that's it. I would've said his blacksmithing tools, but he has a set of them in a normal-looking toolbox.
