Because it'll sell.

But yeah, there are plenty more decent shows that need to be licensed, instead of this --- though i know this shall sell.

I didn't think this series was that bad, though the ending was absolutely horrible...............

.... i wasted 6 hours of my life on this show, only thing that kept me going was that the sumire character was hot half the time then annoying the other half, judging from how dead this thread is other people seem fairly upset too.

Spoiler for Ending:
I don't normally have a problem with "open ended" conclusions to anime, or endings where they don't spell out every single thing, but this was just poorly done. I mean, VvV was never a great anime, but it was entertaining and could have been much better if they had not dropped the ball on the final episode.

Don't why everyone's bashing this series. I loved it. D:

Yes the ending was disappointing. So are the endings of many many other great anime. Wah.

Not everyone is bashing it. I liked it. And I dont even think the ending was particularly disappointing.

Although there are some things I did dislike:
The spoilerish prologue.
The theoretically "epic world shattering scope" did not come across properly; it was more a struggle between a bunch of people.
Partially the visual quality was lacking.
The two main protagonists "emotional problems" were overdone.

Hi everybody-)

I’ve just ended watching the series and I wanna say that the end of VVV, even though it could have been muuuuuch better, is not so hopeless as it seems to be at the first glance.

Spoiler for last scene:

--
And I’ve got a question: is VVV manga licensed? I DO want to read it but can’t find anywhere in the Web. =( Maybe if it’s possible to look through it free of charge, could anyone give me a link? And if somebody kind sends manga to my e-mail it would be really super ^_^

Yes, Seven Seas has the manga:

And someone should take out that yuri tag in this thread since clearly not yuri at all. :\
