wont be just too much for luffy a kid...would just kill the nakama moments...or not? as long as the baby is left behind to be tken care of...but of course if he makes a "promise" to come back to the child it would be lame and he would take force from his kids and not so much of the mamoruing his nakamas...wich is the esscence of the series as higlighted in last chapter...wich brings me to the point, what about zoro? why does he consider luffy to be such a good friend to even let go his own pride?? did we get an answer of that?
luffy gave a present to all of them, and because of a feeling of grattitude for being there when they needed most, they now realize that what is best for luffy is the same best for everybody and for themselves...improving what they love and what they are best at for the sake of everything in their lives.... its like how college is supposed to feel i gues... nami: gave her freedom to be herself...peace of the material problems of life (like a husband...lol) sanji: provided him the means to fulfill his dream in the best possible way...(if you wanna cook great you need to love the people who are eating it???) chopper: gave him his first friend and academic encourage ussop: acceptance of his defects...tolerance to grow robin: gave her the feeling of love...the feeling of a family franky: gave him hope for a better future..and a new beggining into his old but in the end, true dreams brook: just a sense of care, of touch, when you needed it the most... so what about zoro...i cant think what he got from luffy besides being a friend in the plain sense (someone who doesnt cheats you and supports you) Last edited by trafalgarcito; 2010-09-22 at 22:38. |

other than that luffy believed in zoro and they went through so much stuff together
and zoro saw luffy's strength and willpower plus he saved his life when he met him and luffy always trust and protects his crew so thats enough for zoro to respect luffy Last edited by Lukrin; 2010-09-23 at 01:18. |

Besides, there are plenty other captains that could protect or trust. My take is Zorro stays on not because of luffy but because he knows luffy is an idiot and he needs to take care of the crew. sort of like he is the second captain of the ship and it's responsibility to take care of his nakama whom he is fond of. I guess the lack of any special bond or need fulfilled could be a precursor to zorro breaking off to go on his own or form his own crew for a while. |

But yes I does feel he needs too hold a firm ground and take responsability and take into notes that Luffy is an idiot, and he has too keep an eye out for things. I guess its not weird at all since he is First mate and Swordsman of the crew. |

What if,.......... now stay with me on this one, what if, when it returns they try to put a real love plot in the story instead of Hancock wants to rape luffy scenario.
I mean if their was a LuffyXNami half the world would lose it instantly.

Keep dreaming, most shonen love plots amount to they all love him but he would rather fight big muscly men than you know bang any of the potential female love interests
