This is the turning point for Alibaba. The choice he will make will influence his future and that of the entire world. Unfortunately for him, his options are limited. Ideally, he would tell both Kouen and Sindbad to screw themselves and start his own independent country but he has neither the power nor the resources to do that. The only lever for negotiation he has is Aladdin, but I'm not sure he's willing to use him. I guess he'll choose to side with Sindbad. Unlike Aladdin, Alibaba isn't wary of him, is he?

I feel bad for Kougyoku. She thinks Kou and Sindria's relationship are improving, but it's just the opposite. She is too innocent. She's like a little fish in a pool of sharks. It's not going to end well for her unless Alibaba decides to personally protect her (Koumei is right, he should build a harem!!).

Holy crap…so many bad end flags went up in that chapter during Alibaba's conversation with Kougyoku...

I hope Alibaba doesn't screw this up…for her sake, at least, since I really do like the warm and happy Kougyoku. Just seeing her smile makes me happy for some reason…

What Alibaba really needs right now is a third option.

he may make a new force using Alladin and his connections. Specifically the Leim Empire and magnostadt that have two magis as their boss. The only problem is that they have Baldadd as Hostage and that their strenght is far greater then his own( both Sinbad and Ren sides have more metal users and household members) and they can't exactly start a war since the dark ones will take advantage of it.

It is really hard to hate Kou's brothers when Sinbad himself isn't as noble as everyone believed. There were a reason why Aladdin, and Yunan showed a strong scepticism on Sinbad's character. Plus, the author also heavily implied that Sinbad may be get corrupted soon because he has a small of dark rukh.

Just as everyone said, Alibaba should be the third faction instead of picking one side....provided if the author wants Alibaba to be a major player in the manga.

There's nothing special about Morgiana as far as Mu is concerned. She's just another Finalist. To Morgiana, Mu might offer her a way to be with her people, a tempting offer, but she's doggiedly loyal to Alibaba. What's more, I suspect that Mu has a dislike for Alibaba and Aladdin due to their performance in the war. And you know who else dislikes Aladdin? Kougyokou!

I still think he has a potential bargaining position with Aladdin, though thinking on it I suppose they could simply hold him prisoner unless Aladdin comes. That may start a war of course, though En looks like he wants that at some point anyway. Ali needs some kind of Door Number 3. The most apparent I suppose would be going his own way separate from Kou and Sindaria, but he simply doesn't have the power base for such a thing nor enough experience. En and Mei are really irritating me though. Their sheer arrogance has me very much looking to them being outsmarted or shown up in some way. Mei calling Ali naive is especially hilarious given how his own plan is naive in its own right, or did he suddenly forget he had no response to any of Ali's points? Looking at 209 again, I thought it was interesting how some of En's followers in the room just had those "..." reactions to Ali. It makes me wonder if perhaps some in the Kou empire perhaps are not sure about the plan or at least can see the problems. I do really hope that the author starts having Ali grow up more to become a more reckoning force among the other candidates. She seems to be taking some steps, but he still has a long way to go. I do feel bad for Kougyokou. She comes across as so innocent here in regards to things. I'm also a bit concerned about the hypnotic suggestion we know is still on her. I'd imagine the stuff with Mu has to do perhaps with how he doesn't trust Sinbad and such.
