There is a possibility of a joint attack. After all, since it has stopped to be a VG, what's stopping those demi-humans from conceiving tactics?

Which begs the question- The [return of the Goblin King] event can explain the appearance of this army, but that doesn't explain the Sahagin army from the beach

Since the Adventurers didn't do the lander quests to raid the goblins to cut down on the difficulty, everything is at full strength so they've got a difficulty spike on their hands. It's not too much of a stretch that the Goblin tribe have an alliance with the Sahagin army or if the Sahagin's just obey the Goblins as a subordinate race.

Aaaw man, what a waste...they could have gotten some cool gear and spare the world of a monster invasion if they had just crashed the goblin king's coronation! At least I hope the exp they'll get for the 1X thousand kills will make up for that loss, good items are hard to get.
So, now everyone knows what happens when you die...I really liked Crusty's reaction though, getting cold feet because of that would hurt their combat reflexes. People keep mentioning quests, but I don't see any Landers giving them out, you know? Like, a scroll from the palace with the royal seal, asking the round table to get rid of the demi-humans and listing the rewards for it at the bottom of the scroll....or something. |
