Lets see, if Rozen Maiden is a dark twist on Monster Trainer Shows (see Gash Bell) and DearS is a dark twist on "Retard girlfriend" shows, and this is a dark twist on Stand shows (JoJo's Bizzare Adventure 3rd, S-cry-d, Shaman King) then I can't wait to see what the dark twist is.

i felt the transformation scene was out of place. i would have preferred it to be ambiguous.
from the way the story is progressing it looks like we will make it to the end of book 3, maybe 4. so probably the series will end at 12 episodes, unless, heaven forbid, they start making filler episodes of amu catching eggs. how long did rozen maiden season 1 go to? i think it was around book 3?

I haven't started watching this series yet bet its on my list of twenty or so... based off of the preview/CM I'm thinking that this one might actually be somewhat interesting. Lets just hope my assumptions are right

I liked the first ep so much it made me pick up the manga at my local store. Man, this title is SO adorably cute! Amu is a fun, whacky character. While I don't think anything will ever top CCS as a mahou-shojou title, this has its own charm in a similar way that I found Moetan and Ultra Maniac likeable.

I prefer the naughty boy Ikuto over Tadase hehe...
but Tadase has a nice twist to his personality... which makes him not-so-stereotypical, in a way :3
