Really a nice one and worth the wait. Sakura pushed herself pretty hard through this. Was one hell of a trip to pick up what was necessary. A lot of tough things to overcome to reach the goal. Getting past the initial attacks which got her hurt, falling from that height and getting pierced like that, and what the heck let's have her get burned by acid on top of it all. Impressed me quite a bit by how hard she tried and in the end accomplished something like that on her own.

Syaoran chatting with Mokona and Kurogane during this. A tough position to be in that's for sure. You know everyone since you were watching the journey and the clone had half of your heart....but still it's not quite the same. Mokona really is kind, knowing that just watching but never being able to interact is a pretty lonely thing. Kurogane not putting anything on Syaoran's shoulders since its not like he could help wearing that outfit or not knowing what world he was held hostage in.

Just the minor thing of, whoa going vampire . Of course desperate times call for desperate measures. Now they can move forward from that point. Knowing what is going on and still making the call to journey.

Won't be an easy road that's for sure. Have Fei Wong's plan hanging over their heads and the other Syaoran is out there somewhere.

Either way, it was interesting/shocking to see the princess who was usually protected to go through that. CCS Sakura appearing was another lol. Suppose this was what happened to the CCS world when the series and movies ended? So it was implying that the human world (Which the CCS world is closest to) will end up like this in the view of the author?

Well CLAMP is doing their best to finish the Tsubasa manga. It is unknown if the anime will be finished since they claimed to be unhappy with Bee Train's work on the first two seasons. That's why a third season was not produced. If they like the way that Production IG has handled the OVA series it is possible that they will allow IG to finish the adapting their manga into anime.

Right now, we just have to wait for news.

CLAMP already has a hands on approach with this OVA series, so of course they ought to be satisfied with Production IG, I know I am.


A good conclusion to the Tokyo Arc.

I was already wondering since it was arranged for Kamui and Subaru to be siblings, then Fuuma's brother has got to be Seishirou. They seem to have a lot of history, here's another juicy spin-off title CLAMP can cash in on these already popular four characters via Tokyo Babylon and X.

My admiration for Sakura has increased tenfold. In the Piffle World, she already showed she's no mere Damsel in Distress. Now she bears all these heavy burdens, including ruthlessly taking out the lives of monsters (why is it the way I word this sentence sound so funny?), for a girl who has never even taken a life before, it is a heavy price to pay to bring back Clone Syaoran, for it seems she has no feelings whatsoever for True Syaoran.

Here's my interpretation of the appearance of the CCS Sakura:

I'm of the belief that it is CLAMP's intention that Tsubasa takes place in the same "multi-verse" as that of their other works, from X to CCS to Chobits, and of course xxxHolic.

Back in the Piffle Arc, Piffle Tomoyo mentioned that she met Princess Tomoyo in her dreams, if Princess Tomoyo can do such a thing, for a powerful sorceress like CCS Sakura, it's a piece of cake. She probably subconsciously travel through various dimensions in her dreams to meet her other selves, and took it upon herself to save this Sakura.

Fye has definitely gone more mellow since losing his eye, since Kurogane stopped him from dying, meaning he now has to continue running from this Asura guy, and with his magic powers significantly weakened to boot. So "pissed" is he with Kurogane that he has stopped giving Kurogane silly nicknames anymore.

I'm certainly not into yaoi, but I must have spent too much time reading the posts of CLAMP yaoi fangirls for the past few years that I can't help but feel the "phwoar" vibes when learning Fye the new vampire will now have to constantly suck Kuro's blood in order to live.

It seems like a real baptism by blood for the new Syaoran. The whole relationship dynamics have really been thrown out of the window. I feel so sad for Sakura, but even more so for Syaoran. Since I haven't gotten this far in the manga I've been gobsmacked at how the story has changed. Sakura was so strong, but I wonder what hurt more her physical injuries or the pain in her heart?

Really is a changed situation and a difficult period. Really has to be a tough situation for Syaoran. Watching everything that has happened and having half your heart go along for the ride. Now you are there and it isn't easy. Trying to gain the acceptance of people you know about. Fitting into the shoes of the clone and dealing with how the others treat you. Definitely feel for Syaoran. Lived so many years in captivity and now has to go through this.

Sakura definitely has her own burdens to carry. Seeing someone so similar to the person you care about, but knowing it isn't the same. Also taking into consideration how the clone behaves. That guy is completely merciless. I fear for the worlds that have feathers since he won't act like before. Think the physical pain is easier to deal with than her heart.

One thing I still can completely swallow fater watching this for a second time was how Sakura was still able to walk (let alone stand) after he legs, ankle, foot got completely "smashed"...either that is some pretty dam strong will to continue or they are having a laugh

(And what is CCS doing there as well O.o).

Anyway, it was as pretty nice finish to the ova series. The mood has become a lot heavier and if they do decide to carry on with a season three, it seems like nothing will ever be the same again. For one thing Fai is now a depressed, serious monkey ~ whist kuro chan is still the grumpy guy.

They are all playing into Wang's hand, man that guy has long foresight O.o

The anime MUST continue. This is only the beginning of which the changes occur. In both the manga and the anime, Seasons 1 & 2 (In manga, Volumes 1-13/14), the series was easy-going. It was nice, but it's too soft in comparison to Tokyo Arc and beyond. The Tokyo arc is where everything starts changing. Where things get serious. They made a great adaptation of this, and I'd be upset if I'm left hanging at the beginning and don't see no Nihon, Fai or Chess arcs being animated.

Edit: By the way, I liked the 1st & 2nd OVAs more than the 3rd OVA. I don't know, I guess it's because I was expecting it all after the manga.. Don't spoil yourself!

I also thought it was odd when Sakura decides to retrieve the item when it probably would've been much easier with any other character. I really thought she wouldn't even hurt a fly, now she's blowing brains out of mutant animals.

I'm also wondering why Sakura couldn't recognize her younger self. Was it because she didn't remember how she was?

I like this episode the best out of the three.

Doesn't CSS Sakura have the ability to dream the future like Clow Reed? If so she should be able to do some meddling the same way Wong and Yuko does.

I've always thought Sakura to be the hardy sort of girl. She has just been under the weather due to her lack of energy/feathers. The show has shown a few times that a person's nature does carry from universe to universe so if you take into account CSS Sakura's never give up nature and the lengths she goes for the people she loves then it isn't so far fetched that she dragged herself around like a broken doll.

At this moment in time she isn't trying to get her memories back, but her love for Syaoran (v2), and that is heart breaking...

OVA 3 was good...Sakura was awesome which made it ridiculous. Ridiculous were not her actions, but what happened to her.

This journey is never going to end. Plot of the evil mastermind makes no sense to me.

The witch is still annoying as ever, needs someone to put her down. They make her out to be some sort of a good with her knowledge and condescending nature.

Sakura contains a lot of power, more than everyone else it seems form the abilities of all her feathers, but yet she's being manipulated and can't even use them. She has like the ability to do anything to the extent of nothing can stop her, yet nothing.

I'm confused, or maybe I'm just getting frustrated from putting too much thought into this. I forget animes don't make sense sometimes with character behavior or traits. The weakest character has power and ability far greater than anyone else...kind of weird.....

Read the manga. It actually seems like things are going to wrap up pretty soon. Also, it's all serious hardships from the Tokyo arc, so if you decide to read the manga, be prepared. What you've missed in the anime may sometimes be clarified in the manga as well.

Sakura has tremendous inherent luck (for now) and that's why she was able to survive her assignment. In any case, the price of getting the wish was too high for anyone other than Sakura to retrieve the egg. Since it would be much easier for the others to retrieve, the value would have been too low to pay for the wish

Her dreamgazing ability is even stronger than Clow Reed's. However, I thought she would have sealed the ability away until she was older since her foresight was infallible and thus would've become a burden. Still, it was a decent crossover touch for the OVA even if an explanation is never given

It's quite clear that for all Yuuko's power she's very limited in what she's able to do. From xxxholic and TRC we know there are huge ramifications if she doesn't follow the rules. Her personality isn't exactly serious normally but she does slip into the dark mood when the whole Fay Wong Reed issue comes up

Curious how you think she's that powerful. She does have a powerful ability within but in the Tsubasa/xxxHolic world that doesn't mean anything close to all-powerful. Yuuko has tremendous ability but she's locked down with even more restrictions in return. Likewise with Fey Wong Reed. I don't mean that she doesn't have great power but that the anime shouldn't have gotten to the point where it reveals the nature of it.

And about the only one who "did whatever he wanted" was Clow Reed and even then xxxHolic heavily implied that even he had his limitations and not just in power.

You may have a point there. Since it was so difficult would be worth quite a bit. Though Syaoran had an injured leg and Kurogane wasn't exactly in perfect condition either. But really they both could have handled anything that was out there without their lives being at much risk.

Can go with chapter 135 of the manga to cover the end of the OVA and moving into the next arc. Was just reading through the comparable chapters after seeing the last OVA episode myself. Considering just going into it with the future uncertain.

Yeah, Sakura had definitely fallen for the fake. Even when they catch up with the other Syaoran it'll be tough since only way to stop him will be by fighting.

Not certain what the original is going to do. Where was he taken from in the first place? Plus being that far removed from his old life, just what would be his future plans once they take care of this journey?

Question: Manga is all well and good, but what's next for the Anime?

I've never read the manga, never will, however if someone can tell me what the status of the anime is, that'd be great.

AFAIK when the whole thing started, there were going to be three seasons, second and third to begin when the re-runs of the previous stopped. Obviously, this changed for some reason, and it may have something to do with the second season sucking some heavy donkey balls with unecessary and boring crap, which brings us to here, when they've managed to salvage the series' name with the pretty awesome-by-comparison Tokyo Revelations.

So the question is, what happens now? Couldn't really find any information on what's going to happen with that fabled third season that was going to (hopefully) end it all.

Does anyone know what's in store for the anime? Third season? More OVA's? Any set dates that I'm unaware of?

CLAMP also were apart of the first season. I've said it many of times in the past, though i seriously have no problem with the first or second season --- though i can see why people who generate so much dislike for the second season. CLAMP weren't apart of it, so it's easy to say that is a pretty huge factor.

The only part that did annoy me is that we never had any form of announcement telling us about the canceling of the third season, even during the week it was supposed to air.

Anyway, i'd love IG to carry on with the series, though you have to ask yourself would you want a tv series, or for it to carry on in OVA form. I do know at the moment that i just want to focus my time on the manga, and worry about the continuation to the anime after.

Oh and TTR soundtrack release please. If it does happen it'll be crazy seeing as though we only had around 4/5 new pieces of Kajiura music.
