You gotta hand it to this guy- he's got a beauty of a girlfriend, who also is a __dere... I doubt any of us would be able to handle her like he does
and let's not forget the fire sisters of his either. Damn, do we envy of pity this guy?

Damn, that was a nice way of putting it Clarste, you sure have your way with words.
I often find myself thinking how annoying these male protagonists can be, I mean, look at Senjougahara. How can he be so passive and disinterested when conversing with her? And then I realize - she probably wouldn't be so interested in him in the first place if he was like the majority of guys his age. As Clarste cleverly pointed out, by remaining undefeated in these dialogues he likely leaves Senjougahara with a rather sour taste in her mouth which makes her eventually want him more as he's someone who is not easy to get. At least that's how I see it. |

"You're the last person I want to kill me, I don't want to go through what you'd do!" I think Senjougahara likes Koyomi because he's smart enough to bounce back at her in fun ways, has enough spine to remain himself no matter what happens, and a surprisingly empathetic and forgiving nature. Araragi's defining trait is that he helps those who hurt him. |

Hmm, first of all, i would rather think Araragi is a perfect chatting friend.
He has his own uniqueness in expressing his own idea and view. And yes, eventhough he is heavily under verbal abuse by another chara, you cant never defeat him, cause he can bounceback to counter the abuse in his own uniqueness... "Let's just say, i enjoy in talking with you" Senjougahara, eps 5... |

So some new interesting food for thought has come up-
It has been stated that Araragi can only be up to 1/10th his original power from now on, and that's at maximum capacity. It makes me wonder just what he was like with full vampire powers... namely how fast he could regenerate, and what his strength was like. I hope that story might even get animated at some point...

The full extent of his and Shinobu's powers was already implied in the fast-forward flashback shown at the beginning of Ep1, when they duelled against each other. At least one of them appeared to have lost their arm, but the limb was completely regenerated by the time we see them in present day.
Meaning to say, at full power, either Araragi or Shinobu probably possessed Wolverine-like regenerative abilities, making them potentially indestructible. |

The other thing I wonder is if simply being turned into a vampire was the oddity in this case, or he had to pay some other price...
that, and how he got turned back... namely, how'd he meet Oshino and what the remedy Oshino gave him was... though since I'm currently working on reading what's been translated of Koyomi Vamp, I might find the answer that way
