well in all honesty maria is inviolate holiness and is too superior for hayate. denial is futile. i dont know how this plot business will resolve itself in hayate, but maria seems like a bit short on the historical development side, and i wouldn't be surprised if her open status should be revoked in teh future by some plot development. i am not in the fangirl mentality as far as romance is concerned, so i like things as they stand now. maybe put a 10 year freeze on plot development and have maria do 10 volumes of cooking manga.

but for the moment, maria route is epic, no less for maria's fetish with hayate crossdressing.

I _demand_ this scene in proper quality.

I mean, for real. I believe that this was one of the sweetest and most delicate and romantic scenes I've EVER seen. No wonder that Hina stomped the rest of the competition into the ground in the popularity contest which started exactly after this tankoubon.

If for some crazy reason they failed to animate this, I'd be terribly disappointed.

It's actually not that bad. We just had some major developments between Hamster and Hina a few chapters ago, so I think a little bit of "filler" is ok.

I think part of it has to do with my crappy and uninformative spoilers. I really have a lot of difficulty naming all these characters, since I don't really watch the anime and have read all the manga in chinese.

No it is not due to you're summaries, as I read the raw manga as well. Im saying if you were to leave out the Hina and Hamster scenes than nothing has really changed since this began. Nagi is still annoying as ever, Maria is in "limbo", and Hayate has started to get on my nerves with his stupidity.

Looks like others will try to rescue them in the next chapter. Sorry for the crappy spoilers.
