So I finally had the time to watch the anime and its good so far. Is there more info on the supporting characters? Most of the stuff I read so far in this thread is about the the two main characters.

One interesting one would be Hanbei, truly adorable. You have also the dog and the ninja that look great too. These are the MC's close companions AFAIR (As Far As I Read).

Yeah, just like Chad101 said the White Haired Loli. She also have a white Kimono I believe with light blue tie bows. Is she a Miko, because everytime I think of those charms I think of Miko.

Here's a funny thing I notice; I keep finding the same people complaining about harem romcom LN series, but yet all I've ever seen them hang around are Animes or LNs with the MF Bunko label on them *facepalm*

On Hanbei, let's see... She was originally introduced in vol 2. I think she's the niece of one of the Mino 3, who all defected from Dousan.

She's introduced as a brilliant strategist on par with Zhuge Liang of the 3 Kingdoms. Before we even see her, the Oda army falls into two of her strategies and would have gotten wrecked if not for the MC's quick thinking.

When we finally see her in person, she turns out to be this frail and timid little girl. If you start reading her dialogues when first introduced, she's basically in tears most of the time begging the MC not to bully her.

I'm really fuzzy on that part of the novel involving the MC interacting with her then, but in the end, she gets used to the MC and falls for him, leading to her defection to the Oda side.

On abilities, she's supposed to be an extremely capable strategist and omyoji. In battle, she tends to use two familiars: a "demon of the front" and a "demon of the back" (best translations I can come up with, and that's only if those aren't titles but names, in which case I'd have no idea what to call them). She's also shown in volume 4 to be one of the most powerful omyoji in Japan.

Other than volume 2, she doesn't get all that much spotlight I think... In most of the other volumes she's acting as the MC's tactician and directing his forces. Let me see now...

Vol 2 I already covered. She's the main plot point of a good third of the volume, I'd say...

Vol 3, the most I remember about her is her fighting Matsunaga (I think I mistook her name to be Matsumae in my summaries... That's what you get trying to translate the Chinese versions of the name via google/wikipedia cross referencing, especially since wikipedia's not very complete when it comes to the more minor figures in sengoku). Again, I'm fuzzy on the details of the fight, so yeah...

Other than that, there's just that scene near the end of the volume with her being sick.

Vol 4, she doesn't awake from her fever until the later half, whereupon she goes to Nobuna and tells her that the MC is still alive. Later on, she throws down with that young omyoji on the Azai-Asakura side (who, in the story, I think is trying to get recognized as the greatest omyoji in Japan). The young omyoji tosses out tons of summons, and Hanbei only summons the demon of the front. The young omyoji's being cocky over how he massively outnumber her, but she just blows away all his summons in one move. There's some references about some supreme spirit that no one can summon and a "founder", but again, I'm not too sure how accurate that is...

Vol 5, she's basically completely non-existent so far, seeing as how she's tending to the MC's division with Nobuna while the focus is on the MC running around all over the place...

Not really, there are plenty of ecchi moments in LN, granted not to the point of say HighSchool DxD or Asobi no Ikuyo or Bentou but definitely on part with the like of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu with all the perverted thoughts on Saru's part and his obsession with boobs.

The young omyouji was actually a direct descendant of Abe no Seimei. He looks down upon Hanbei as some rural, inferior omyouji. As the battled with their shikigami,however, it was revealed that the one possessed by Hanbei was actually the strongest of all shikigamis--Abe no Seimei himself.

The thing is, there was no such thing as a 'lolicon' back then, because there was no such thing as 'underage' so yeah, back then, if you had power, then whatever floats your boat would do.

On a different topic, I still find it vaguely amusing that many of the strongest warlords actually died from disease or illness, rather than in actual war...

Which brings up the secondary fact that people say the Sengoku era and other such areas are so action-packed, and that current adaptations are faithful to the timeline or whatever. but the Warring States was spread out over what? A century? A proper adaptation would have to have to have A LOT of timeskips...

That most likely changed due to Sagara. He knows future events and know the outcome, it is really up to him to change it or not. Knowing what is up ahead will most likely speed up time.

Frankly, most of the roads were terrible during this time period and horses were somewhat scarce.. just moving armies around would take a lot longer than anyone admits, let alone the entire economy was agrarian, so NO FIGHTING DURING WINTER!
