Last Exile wasn't so bad, it just didn't wrap everything up.

A different problem than Scrapped Princess which tied everything up too neatly and too quickly with a Deus Ex Machina of Matrix Revolutions proportions.

But this is more a discussion for the Liscensed forum actually.

What????? Chrno rumoured to go for 13 eps only.... darn... I thought that it would be more... the animation has been good so far except for that weird transforming thing... then again.. it would be weird if that transforming thing wasn't there.... but all in all... I feel that it would be great if the length was double... ie about 24-26 eps... I think Aion is cool in a sick sort of way.... (this sounds weird... i like sick ppl??? )

But was just one mistake in the translation.. nearly all german words were wrong..

It's not Magdalene's María, but María Magdalena, which is a biblic name. María Magdalena is name of Virgin Maria's mmm... aunt? I don't remmember well now. That's told on New Evangelium, at the very begining, just on the "Announcement" of St. Gabriel Angel to Virgin María.
The story is this: María Magdalena was unable to born a child because of her age, but God made a miracle on her so she got pregnant. Angel St. Gabriel told that to Virgin Maria so She would make sure (believe) that what St. Gabriel was telling Her was the truth (He told Her that She was going to be Mother of God).

Why did he tell Rosette that?? I dunno... But this kind of weird things are what makes me detest an anime like this one...

Something I noticed in Chrno Crusade is that the "fighting nuns order" is called "Order of Magdala". It seems that Mary Magdalene was named after the village she was born in, Magdala, located in the shore of the Galilean Sea.

To add some info on her (sorry if the names seem confusing as I'm not sure how they are spelled in English).
Currently, the church makes a distinction between the 3 Mary that appear in the Bible and usually were thought to be the same person:

We have the Mary the repented prostitute.

Also Mary from Bethania (?), sister of Lazarus and Martha.

And at last Mary Magdalene, which is the most conmonly revered. Jesus expelled 7 demons from her, and is the one that was with the Virgin Mary during the execution of Jesus and met him after his resurrection.

So calling her a bitch/whore, etc. is an error, because they are thought to be different woman.

Although I liked this episode, I don't remember them meeting Ion so early in the manga.. ._.; I hope we get to see Rosette's past in the episodes soon.. that's what I'm really edging to see. But episode 7 was really tense. Ion bothers me. >_>;

Hopefully it won't be a 13-episode series.. I'm really doubting it deep down..

Well, if it IS a 13 episode series... I hope that it won't be some definitive ending and there'll be a second season... The manga is just too deep for it to be 13 episodes long...
