Exclusive(?) Grasshopper Manufacture game for Kinect shown.
Famitsu.com has some pictures up. The game was formally known as Codename D, but now the official title has been unveiled as Diabolical Pitch. |

This is actually more of a Rock Band 3 question but I didn't want to start a new thread.
Is there a way to have the game just *play* the tunes with your assigned band members? Like a 'demo' or 'idle' mode (jukebox maybe?)? Without the frets/colors/etc. Its actually kind of entertaining watching the band but when you're gaming it - there's not a lot of time to look. This would be nice for parties, etc. No matter how I frame the question via google, so far I've gotten nothing but search responses unrelated to my question (which just tells me I'm using the wrong key words). Update: okay, I've cobbled together the notion of 1) Set to World Tour mode (maybe with a setlist) 2) Play single as vocals 3) No-fail ON 4) Crowd sounds OFF 5) Performance mode ON Does that sound like it'll work (I'll test it when I get a chance).

You mean a jukebox mode of sorts, Sir Vexx? I don't believe Rock Band has such a feature, but you could substitute it by turning on "No Fail", turning off background noise in the options menu, and playing the vocals part in performance mode. I would think that would work just as well.

Use Kinect controls in cave's Instant Brain. The game itself is an adventure game, think VN/eroge direction, not platfomer or 3d bashing people collection items kind of adventure.
Over on andriasang.com yoiu can find how kinect controls are used for this game. It is about time that these kind of games start using kinect. Make sure to check the homepage and the screenshots. |
