Spoiler for Jade Fanart:

Next one will be Tear

-----
I really like the first two episode. The main question for me now, which fansub I should save: Shinsen, GG, or Abyssal Chronicles. Was looking forward to AC, but there were only XVID one (maybe h264 would be later) and I didn't like "nightmare" sign when Tear used her special/song, because it takes big place on the screen.

Haha, yeah the deckbrush is hillarious. Looking forward for more fanart.

Anyone kindly care to provide some Jade avatars or gifs from the anime?

Thx.

Thanks for the fanart [MrSonic] --- looking forward to what Tear work you can show us.

Speaking of Tear, would anyone mind making me some Tear avatars from her blushing scenes in episode 02?

(Trusty Bell is an exception though-I think he manages to create quite a musical piece for it)

And as for Star Ocean, the basic Gameplay (since 2 admittedly-not sure about the 1st one, still in the waiting list to play) is like Tales Series but this is understandable since Tri-Ace has their hands working in it.

I don't think Abyss Story>Vesperia's Story. Abyss is more attractive, but all in all, the story can be said to have the same roots, albeit Vesperia may dig the character deeper than Abyss. That is just me though.
I agree with Sakuraba. Surely he's no Nobuo Uematsu for sure. But I do like a few of his pieces from time to time. I'm almost torn about how I think of him. Koji Kondo (Zelda, Mario) he is not.

As for Vesperia, the thing about that game's story and characters is that they have SO many inter-personal dialogue that you can't help but be more connected to it than with many other RPGs. I hear Vesperia easily has the most skits out of the Tales games, so maybe that's why.

Took a look at snaps they had at their site too, might be the only group to try add unnecessary overlays. Looks pretty obnoxious.

Looks like Shinsen lived up to its namesake this time. I just find their stylings and translations to be the most agreeable. Good thing I chose them on blind luck.

The heck?

Spoiler:

I'm tempted to bring this further but this is not the place for it. There's always the Vesperia thread in the game section though.

I went back and watched episode 1 again along with episode 2 and im starting to feel the show for some reason. Maybe its the characters or the huge potential i see in the series and with huge range of characters im sure things will get interesting very quickly.

Im still getting a War of Genesis or a Manga Carta feel from TOA maybe its how the outfits for the characters are designed.

Well, so far the pace from the two episodes seems alright. I guess they'll be working in the pendant side-quest thing for the latter part of the series.

Never heard Anise in moonspeak, so the first few times she spoke I was like "lolwut". Will get some getting used to.

As for Tear's cute-gasms: lol.

Oh, such irony! Most of us played the game and got use to the English dub, and now we found the Japanese dub something to get used to!

BTW, HERE'S ANOTHER COMPARISON SITE: http://ultracarl.com/fansub/Review.php?ID=86&Sort=3

Overall, I'm very disappointed with what's available... Every group aside from gg has managed to utterly screw up somehow with either the translation or fansubbing process.

Osu! - Names and terminology were utterly raped. The group will be issuing a V2.

AbyssalChronicles - After all the hype, this group is a huge let down. 720p Xvid (in AVI?) in MKV? I'll pass.

Weib/Bobu44/Gaku - A cluster**** of failure. Decent subs but horrible 12+ hour distro regardless of connection speed.

Yuurisan - MP4 is nice and all, but I want my damn softsubs!

Shinsen - Their HQ release is only 576p.
