And yes, it's hard, and I still suck. @ayako: That's Mishima Reika from RahXephon.

Just saw episode 14 and it really was such a stupid episode.
Even though this is anime and it has spirits and unbelievable stuff but that guy is an idiot. He can't know his true strength if he played the game in the middle. WTH!! So stupid. I'm so pissed right now. IDIOT! |

Well the end sucks because there is no conclusion Still it is a great series. I started watching it randomly and i had no idea what the hell it is about. I got hooked from the first episode. If they finish things off with another special or something then it's all good. Back in 2003 i also started playing Go because of this Reached 9 Kyu (KGS rating) then stopped.
One of my favourite series for sure. |

I'm rewatching this series atm, and it just brings back the excitement from all those years ago.
I deem this anime of the decade. The OPs and EDs are the best. Today's songs used in the animes are just horrible compared to back then. Too much of that pop/rock/hip-hop, whatever it is. Too bad they didn't give it a proper end though. And did Mitani's sister have a name? |

I stumbled upon an interesting bit of trivia about the current state of I-Go in Japan.

In fact, I wonder if the youth revival sparked by the manga has been sustained. |

This is my younger's brother favorite show ever. And one of my personal favorites (possibly my second favorite sport series, only second to Cross Game). Nice to see you're finally discovering this gem.
And god was that scene epic.
