Thumbs up Your Latest Anime/Manga Purchase

Plain and simple: what's the last anime you bought?

I just picked up Gunbuster! aka Hideaki Anno's directorial debut. It's so nice to be able to see it on DVD!

*thinks* well... recently, in a row :
-FMA 10
-Getbackers 20
-Fruits Basket 20
-Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE 13

the last anime i bought would be Saiyuki Reload (i didn't have the money before, but sounds like i shouldn't after all... i'm really disappointed about this sequel, wasting a lot for flat fillers...)

going to buy Tsukihime 4

note : as you can see, manga in europe can be really random in their release compared to USA... at least the french/belgian ones ~~

Last arrivals at the house:
1) Tsukuyomi Moon Phase volume 4
2) Paniponi Dash volume 2

Recently topped off my Kamichu! collection.

Looks like things have idled until the summer as far as anime purchases outside of more TMP and PPD volumes.
Actually, I'm considering some companions to Totoro: Spirited Away, etc.

These types of threads always degenerate into spam, but I guess they can be fun (and it's interesting to see what everyone else is buying)

Vol 1 + box of FMP!TSR
Vol 4 of My-HiME

We're like a couple of months behind the US, so those are both the latest releases of those respective series.

I just bought Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni and Karin. This guy offered to sell me subtitled discs on eBay! That means I get them before eveyone else! Score!

Those are almost certainly bootlegs, probably using fansubs as their source...

Anyway, the last thing I bought was a pile of manga, including mahoraba vol 12. Oh, and Megami with a very nice, though a bit small, poster with Ayu and Nayuki.

I haven't bought any dvds for a while though... Still need to pick up Ichigo Mashimaro, but I don't really like buying online, and I fear strange looks if I buy them in a store.

Buying online is my primary anime source, imported anime DVDs cost way too much here. Finnish anime DVDs are cheaper (around 10 - 15 €), but the down side is poor quality subs.

Anyway, my latest
My-HiME vol. 6, Rumbling Hearts vol. 1, Shana vol. 3 and Zipang vol. 3. Plus Megami from store.

Damn, watching Kiminozo episode 2 again and few days later, a certain another ero-game to anime episode with a twist at the end was really depressing.

From Italy:

A 2 dvd special edition with a wonderful packaging and a 176 pages volume included:

- Tsubasa Chronichle the Movie
- xxxHoliC the Movie

Previous ones: Beck vol.3 , Noein vol.1 (+ Limited Collector's Box). Next ones: Nana vol.1, vol.2 (+ Limited Collector's Box) when they come out in april.

From UK:

- Only Yesterday (Studio Ghibli)

When the Studio Ghibli's will return to be in offer, I plan to buy Totoro and The Cat Returns. I also miss Porco Rosso and Nausicaa, but they should come out in Italy one day, so I'll still wait a bit. (when possible, I'd rather support my country's market).

I've also scheduled to buy the "Fruits Basket Box Set (4 dvd)". No chances to see this in my country, so I'll go with UK.

Getting anime here is also a pain imho.. not many stores around here, and the ones that do carry import anime are expensive as hell, charge deliverycosts through the nose, only have the generic dragonball Z DVDs or like Karuma said only carry DVDboxsets. So I mainly buy online from the UK as well.. (play.com) no deliverycharge, so that's a nice thing too and they have tons of anime and offers.

OT: just ordered

Dominion Tank Police - Acts 1 & 2 (Region 2 DVD)
Dominion Tank Police - Acts 3 & 4 (Region 2 DVD)
New Dominion Tank Police (Region 2 DVD)
Ninja Scroll (aka Jubei Ninpocho): 10th Anniversary Edition Box Set (2 Discs) (5.1/DTS) (Region 2 DVD)

:d

Ordered few days ago:

Maria-sama ga Miteru OVA Volume 3 Suzukaze Satsusatsu Limited Collectors Edition
Maria-sama ga Miteru OVA Soundtrack

I usually don't buy much cause I'm decidedly poor (see sig), but.. I'm just too much of a fangirl.
