I honestly thought she was supposed to be more important to story than we saw. Kagari's existence might have come across as questionable, but at she screentime and few decent moments. If anyone forgot about Reyes, I couldn't blame them, her introduction was only notable thing about her.

While probably wasn't perfect itself lots comments here and around the net lead me to believe the game did much better job of connecting everything together. Maybe S;G 0 much more non-linear than S;G which affected well the production staff present the story.

I haven't played any of the games, but I felt like they could've done this story in a cour or maybe even a few ovas. They spent a lot of time early on with his depression before getting to the time hijinks. Initially thought of it as a supplemental to the first series but it really wanted to do more than I guess I was even looking for.
