where did it start?

thought of something ... when/where did the practice with adding words/sentences of english lyrics into the japanese songs start? ... i've been thinking of if it was a sitetracking of the danish bubblegum pop, that was popular in scandinavia and japan from the middle of the 90's and to around the millenium, with nonsence words witch transferred into that it started to be forgein words ... but to be blunt ... i'm far from sure ... andone know?
