Exclamation Romance Anime Movies Needed

I have been searching like crazy for a romance anime movie.
I have only seen two so far which were: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and 5cm Per Second.
My preferences would be ROMANCE. I'd love to have a lot of romance in it though I'd like you to refrain from listing those that have echhi (I am willing to only allow a tiny bit of echhi) No yuri/yaoi. Also, I'd like the characters to look good if possible.
I do not mind what year was released or made but to give you an idea, I'd say from 2000-2012.

I hope I have given you enough information to help me out. I'm listening to any recommendations you have for me. Thank you, I appreciate you spending the time to help me.

I know i wouldn't get everything i want so I'll also sacrifice the looks of the characters for the plot.

I'd highly suggest Bungaku Shoujo is a really great and beautiful animated romance movie from 2010.

Thank you so much Konakaga! Bungaku Shoujo is very interesting. I've never heard of a plot like that. I'll definitely watch it. I appreciate your suggestion and the time you took to give me an answer.

I don't know if you've seen this but here it goes.

Ahem:

Since you loved 5cm Per Second why don't you give The Place Promised in Our Early Days a shot? It was directed and created by the same guy behind 5cm Per Second, Makoto Shinkai.

That same guy who made 5cm Per Second, also made the movie The Place Promised in Our Early Days? Awesome! I'm going to watch that too for sure. Thanks Kirito.

How about Millenium Actress? It traces the life of a 20th century Japanese film star as she pursues a lover. Mononoke Hime is pretty romantic as well.

Summer Wars has an adolescent romance as one of its plot streams.

Well... there is Whisper of the Heart, which has a little bit of romance

Ah My Goddess movie would certainly fit, but you ought to watch the first season of Ah My Goddess first to understand why you should care about the characters.

Millenium Actress, Mononoke Hime Summer Wars and Whisper of the Heart all sound intriguing.
I have already seen Ah My Goddess the movies and the series but I appreciate the suggestion.

If you ever feel like watching a anime series (not hard to do if you stream) then clannad would be a good fit and there's also plenty of other anime series that i think you migh enjoy if you give them a chance...
