Yeah I contradicted myself a little here. That reaction was a weird cross between 2 Kha's: One that existed in CCS, who declares Sakura the Light's High Priestess of Hope, and the other that exists in Nanohaverse and thinks that S******* H***** is the God Empress after tuning into a Terran DVD player while researching on Holy Velka. Sometimes when the various Clerics mind's link up weird exchanges happen.

To be honest no one knows who the God Empress really is, even though she has always been on the throne for close to a millenia while remaining a loli, her face was always masked. Some even claim that she's just a doll yada yada yada (Turns into Imperium of Man copy-pasta)

Oh you never heard? Hayate discontinued production of the Harisen Mk II and started the line of Mk III at some Santa Paulo war factory...

Never having seen CCS beyond season 1 (it's a miracle season 1 was aired at all ) I can't really join in on the discussion on hwo would pwn who.

My money's on Sakura. She has a huge arsenal of cards for practically every occasion, can turn from a marksman to a front line warrior in no time, not to mention some insane cards like Mirror, Shadow, Darkness, Time, Return, Illusion and The Nothing card.

Poor Nanoha is gonna get owned. Then again, Sakura is the original undistorted spirit of friendship. That will be her only weakness.

the official doctrine is that Sakura is much stronger, but Nanoha will always knock her out first

As much as I support Sakura, I'd say this Sakura is going to get pwn'd for looking at her Clow Hammer device, it is the time when she was still a noob at magic, and haven't converted the Cards to her magic.

If Nanoha comes back after she sealed everything in her name, the White Devil's not only going to get pwn'd, she probably going to get befriended the original way, wrapped up in the Hope card or sucked into the eternal abyss of the Void.

But knowing Sakura, her spirit is her weakness. But knowing Syaoran, I know he's foolish enough to jump in front of Nanoha first and gets gunned down in a blink. From TRC Sakura's response, I'm sure that's enough to get Sakura on the offensive.

Then if Sakura ends up shooting Yuuno in the process, we'll have an epic Kira VS Athrun conflict, Nanohaverse style. No dimension would be safe, and the TSAB would be totally powerless to stop them until they destroy each other...

@Winters: Sakura could travel back in time, but she could not affect events in the past. She couldn't even talk or touch the ppl in the past, though they can sense that she was there. That was from the CCS anime.

That is actually questionable, Sakura's magic isn't that slow. The best Nanoha can do is try to trap her and blast her until she's down, but Sakura could easily escape from a magic lock. Nanoha is effective from range and is not that strong in close combat. Sakura is not only stronger, but she is used to utilizing various tactics involving different cards to get to an enemy. Nanoha's abilities are too limited against Sakura. The problem with Sakura is that she will try not to harm an opponent, unlike Nanoha who just befriends people to pieces. If Sakura does lose, it will be because of her kind nature, not because of inferior power or tactics.

@Kha, well, yes, if Nanoha goes against first episode Sakura, what's the point of discussing Sakura defeating Nanoha before her power peak will be quite a feat, but Nanoha defeating Sakura after her acquisition of the Nothing card in single combat is practically impossible.

Edit: Sakura has two guardians and could just call Eriol, too, if the reinforcements are the problem. Plus, if Sakura can go up against the Mobile Arc En Ciel, why would she lose to the ship's weapon?

The concept of magic in both series differ by several leaps and bounds. So wouldn't it be just a vicious cycle of both sides thinking up of more and more reasons why their preferred character should win?

Theoritically yes, but in practice at least during a number of episodes near the end hitting cards with the staff while taking into account the speed of an enemy attack would mean that Sakura hits the cards instantaneously. Damn, during the last episodes I can't remember her hitting the jump card, wings just appear out of nowhere. Whether the whole issue is saving time, plothole (since ok, saving time when nothing really happens is ok but when an enemy attacks you in full speed, you're dead if you have to take time to hit a card), or if really Sakura can summon some cards at will is up to interpretation. I'll do some rewatches this weekend and test this hypothesis.
