Yes, the novel art of IS is the beastliest novel-art I've ever seen.

its only a rumor... but with quite the backup...

on the other hand, if Izuru hurries with the novel, he could still make it, or he could go with another publisher... on the other hand, he could release the novel in smaller chapters, and publish it through magazines

How do manga/light novel rights work anyway? If Izuru Yumizuru owns the entire property, he could potentially continue the series some other way.

However, if ownership is shared between the author and the publisher, the latter would have to relinquish their own rights (unlikely if the two parties are on bad terms) before anything can be done.

The publisher should just higher a ghost writer...It's not like IS is that hard to write. It's a bit generic too, the unique setting and the correctly done cliche characters are what made it shine.

I'm sure a correctly picked ghost writer could do better then Yumizuru, as they would work hard and put their effort.

Just DL the raw scans and the PDFs at Baka-Tsuki.
In case anything happens and DMCA tries to take it down.

Honestly, the story of IS isn't groundbreaking or hard to write. If the author doesn't have full rights, then it's not that hard to hire a substitute writer.

Imo, nothing beats having the physical copy. I'm fluent in Japanese so it's not really a waste of money

I said that like 10,000 times >.<
It's called Ghost Writer.
Hopefully if they hire a Ghost Writer, they actually have him ..Like you know, Make progress on the plot instead of adding a new harem character every volume.

I wish we can just send a copy of our own novels we fanmade and send it to them. Then they can make a few tweaks and publish it as the next volume

Unless we can write with full Japanese, I don't think so.

I know that the writer couldve easily made IS into something more dramatic and amazing to read but still its a shame as I was rather looking forward to reading vol 8 to read more about the ever teaseful kaichou :/ Ive developed quite attachment to the series though there's plenty others that are better. I do hope he can find some other publisher as I think that if he can stop his derpy writing style, IS has potential to become one of the biggest series ever

Well, one thing's for sure is that you can expect MediaFactory to be stormed on the day an official announcement's released. Pass me the popcorn.
