Thanks to Kinny for the link in another forum. I just realized that this will be between 4~9 of January. Here is the catch. IM going to be IN Japan during that time and more. So, do you think it's worth checking it out. I would get a video camera, film it, and probably upload it.

But ya, I need somoene to help me translate it.

Rukia: Ok, I guess. Not that cute.
Hitsugaya: Not bad, he looks good.
Uruhara: PERFECT 11/10. Just the type of person who would be perfect for a live action.
Chad: Another great one, especially the hair, could use a bit more muscle, but still good.
Aizen: His hair colour is brown, if that was the case it would have worked with this guy.
Orihime: Where's the package?
Ichigo: Good, not bad, but still can be acceptable. I like it.
Gin: >.< there's the evil sickening smile that I loved him for. Looks perfect too.
Hinamori: >_< no. Her face looks a bit plump. Figure and everything looks great, even that cute thing that covers her hair.
Byakuya: 9/10. He has the got the perfect style, though I cant seem to help that his face looks like a kid.
Renji: Eyes scares me, but another good attempt.

I favor Uruhara and Gin, would have been with Aizen too, if he dyed his hair brown.

Since I'm a Nagayama, Moriyama, and Tuti fan, so I naturally love how Hitsugaya, Renji, and Gin look ^^

Ookuchi's hair for Aizen IS brown. It just looks darker in that image.

Uruhara looks awesome, as well. From what I've heard, he performed well, too. I've heard nothing but good reviews about Miki Sato as Rukia, and I can assure you that those are just bad images of her in costume >.< She really does look quite a bit like Rukia.

I'd say its worth checking out. I haven't seen it myself, but I haven't heard too many non-positive reviews, which is always a good sign. Even if I wasn't a fan of Bleach, I'd still see the musical myself if I have a chance because of my forementioned fandom of Tuti, Nagayan, and MoriEiji. But that's probably just me...

If you're going to be in Japan during the 4th to 9th, then you need to be in Osaka for the Osaka showing, held from the 5th to 8th at the Osaka Mel Park Hall. The Tokyo showing won't be on till the 14th. Tickets cost 5600 yen. But can't guarantee if there'll still be any left.

The musical is well-worth watching, I can say after having watched it myself. I quite enjoyed it, and would rather like to see it live (but only after I see Tenimyu live XD)

I was actually hoping a Bae Yong Jun lookalike to be playing Aizen. Anyways, Zabimaru looks really nice in that first pic.

i was like O.O; when i heard about it, at first i thought it would be about the animated cast in a musical against their will, only chaos could be the up bring of that

but after skipping through some scenes i got the scare of my life, seeing real people dressing up as the cast and singing ROFL i couldnt stop laughing omg, only that is even worth watching, tommorow im going to watch it fully, though i wont get some parts of it since its not subbed... but then again ill just laugh by looking at a singing Renji or Ichigo XD

btw the more i look at that picture the more i can imagine a live action movie of Bleach XD

Does anyone know if there's any translations for this around? I have been looking, but so far havent found anything. I can understand most of it, but for some of the exposition. Im also having trouble with alot of the booklet, which is just a smaller version of the book they sold at Space Zero. Reading is not as good as my spoken. ~_~ And actually I am finding the dvd easier to understand that the live preformance was.

It takes a lot of work to fansub a musical, so I wouldn't expect it soon, even if someone is interested in fansubbing it. First each song has to be translated and that is a bit more work than translating dialoge. Add on the fact that all those songs contain a lot more words than the an equivalent length of regular anime. To that you add the fact that a two hour musical is a huge project. That makes an awful lot of work just for the translation. Then you have to karaoke all those songs which is a huge typesetting job. Everything is harder when you're fansubbing a musical -- I speak from experience. Let me just say that this a lot harder than fansubbing 5 episodes of Bleach back-to-back.

Personally, I am hoping that someone takes on this project, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for it.

There will soon be dancing Kenpachi and Ikkaku. Thetre also adding Matsumoto and Youruichi. I think the Ken fellow looks like a biker. Oh and Kira, hes in it too. (heh, not a fan i guess, hes so forgetable.)
Wish I could go to this one. If I werent going to university in Sept I would have tried to get tickets.
