I'm going to say no, for two reasons. One, the narrator kept claiming how suspicious he was. That makes him not a bad person by anime logic default. Second, there were enough requests that they could've kept Ryoushi separated from the rest without having to train him.

Besides, Puss-in-Boots actually seems like he's helping Ryoushi. Not just to learn how to fight, but to get over his fear of being stared at.

A suspicious amount of focus on Rikkun- I mean, Liszt.... Looks like he's gonna get serious this one now that his members has come under direct attack including Alice! I wonder if we'll get some development on that front? Wasn't expecting anything at all but last week gave me hope

Ahh, and it's about time Ryoushi gets a cool guy friend. I've always figured it would be Jack and the beanstalk or something, but Puss in Boots work as well, but what's his story ?! Does he have a score to settle with Sheep-head as well?

No, Puss in Boots is actually one of the fairy tales gathered by the brothers Grimm. There the puss' function in the tale is that of a cunning and plotting helper, although the cat's helping the one that's been befallen by injustice.
Also, as GDB already mentioned, someone labeled as suspicious as this one can't be that suspicious, basic rule.

This was already answered much much earlier in the thread. Tamamo-no-Mae is the basis for Reiko.

Wow! This week is an intense episode. I didn't see that coming at all.

Spoiler for episode 10:

First off, Kudos to Hitsujikai who execute his plans flawlessly and completely play Listz. By sending out small scales of attack make Listz accept more jobs for Otoki bank, separating everyone in the process. Then send in the the fox to Ookami-san using the excuse she is weakest against. And then coordinate the strike and by the time the good guys know what happen, they are already down 3-4 people (Do they actually have Otohime? Otohime is never shown capture so she might just have her bags taken; Hitsujikai is unlucky for not having Alice, not knowing the rabbit is not actually an evil person) . Given his well planned well executed attack, I almost wish Hitsuhikai can come out on top.
The climax is probably "now is the time to repay the debt" and had all characters come back out and help Otoki Bank to fight back.

Wow, what a great episode. I knew Reiko was a spy of some sort. She wasn't very convincing at all to me. Man, what a great kickoff to the final arc. What business do they have with Otogi bank though? At any rate, I can't wait for next week.

Hitsujikai is just really amazing with his plans even though he is a complete jerk. But, something told me easily that this would happen, I mean when we heard about the girl that was supposed to be "betrayed by Hitsujikai" and became friendly towards Ookami. Where the reports of her past said "She would change for anything if her boyfriend says it, even stealing from a store" She would do anything...

But other then that, the episode is really getting some stuff happening , we might see what happened between Hitsujikai and Ookami

I dunno I thought she might be with the bad guys, but I had also thought Hitsujikai is really evil enough to be like that with someone, so it could be she wasn't lying with how beat up she looked. Overall a good episode to build up to the next.
