The quality surprised me. Really nice animation and if they can keep it up and not turn it into Queen's Blade 3 then I will continue to watch.

I think this show has alot of potential. I wonder if it'll be a episodic kind of series or a continuous plot. I really liked the art and some of the action. ED was cute and I can't wait for the next episode. I hope we get to see some great fights in this series.

Personally I like the characters so far. Cecily is really proud of her heritage and she is really new to trying to be a knight so I can forgive her for now. Her heart is in the right place and is really stubborn but can be very cute when flustered. Only complaint is her naming herself and her heritage a bit too much, hopefully thats toned down. The headdress/miniskirt is a nice touch. Luke and Lisa seem to be a interesting pair and I don't think Lisa is human just looking at her ears. Although I'm not sure in this world if there are only humans or if other races are here.

The forging scene was awesome, its always good to see something new. So he can basically forge everywhere as long he has the material and his magic elf, not to mention it only takes a short period of time.

kinda bland, but I'm still gonna follow this, mainly because of the animation

White boy named Luke pretending to be Asian... where have I seen that before...

In all seriousness though, passing grade for this episode. Decent action, decent animation (loved the flowing steps during Lukes fight... yes, footwork is the most important part...), dunno about the plot yet though. Could be a decent watch as long as the quality stays with it and the story doesn't get stale (the elf loli will only get you so far...).

I'm just hoping that the Manglobe treatment can do this show good sorta like what Bones did for Soul Eater. Except Soul Eater turned out quite epic because for some reason, they dumped a whole lot of budget to animate it.

Considering there've been monster bear things and a giant ice spider thing... I'd be surprised if humans were the only race

Watch, later on her last name will be revealed as Westwood, proving she is Tiffania's long lost younger sister who got the full brunt of one of Louise's rouge spells and ended up in another fantasy world

As was already said, it's a nice first episode despite being rather generic. So far the characters seem like the typical stereotypes but that's sort of expected since it's still the first episode, though I'm finding it hard to like Luke's brooding apathy. Cecily's pretty likable from the onset at least. Personally it's a bit of a role reversal in certain ways.

On the other hand, pretty good and fluid animation and nicely animated and choreographed fights. Pleasantly bloody for live TV too.
