I'm wondering if Administrator offered Eugeo a Blue and Red Pill: either he can take back Alice's memory piece and live with the Alice that returns from that (maybe with Kirito's flags on Alice still being retained, ensuring more suffering), or he can um, embrace Administrator, accepting Incarnation knowledge, an Alice that has (some kind of good) a good relationship with him, and power greater than Kirito in exchange for his total allegiance and faith in her.

That, and we still have the Berculi Crack Theory that somehow could explain the strength of the Integrators...

Controlling them isn't a problem because of the system command "Deep Freeze", so Administrator can buff her knights as much as she likes. How does she operate on them then, I wonder...

...maybe I'll just pause that train of thought and head back for SFW territory.

Hey now, I meant Admin only does that to Berculi, not that she does it to a lot of her knights >.> This is due to how in the WEB version when a important character dies they see the partial fluctlight (ie, strong emotional imprint of the soul becoming a partial existence) of the person they love heading into oblivion with them, eg Eugeo with original Alice, the leader of the Dark Knights in DT, and Berculi with Admin.

I was thinking along the lines of only Admin & Eugeo, not that she'd actually do that to the entire force. IIRC one of the Knights also still possesses anti-Church thoughts post-synthesis (Synthesis...12? 8? The telekinetic blade user).

Haha, thinking about it, it might actually be possible. Berculi was able to kill a dragon (among other things) before becoming an Integrator, and he was the first one too. Admin probably didn't have any high-leveled minion at the time, and it's not like she could have win him over by torture. At least, I don't see him as the kind to give in that way. On the other hand...

Also, I'd like to point out that while Eugeo was invited to her bed chamber, Alice was tied to a chair and tortured for 3 days.

Some sense there. Administrator definitely knew UW Fluctlights can't disobey rules because of (the effects?) of Code 871, or maybe she realised this property of them. If she can't get Berculi to raise his skill level by killing humans, then other means would have to do...

Well, all she needs is that one command to release the Fluctlight's safeties, then they're all hers. Reekilynn noted previously all she needs is 10 minutes after the safety is gone.

It's not like she can't. Berculi kills humans all the time, in the Dark Territory, that is. And other than humans he can also kill system-spawned monsters, like that big dragon. After 300 years, he ought to have leveled up countless times. If Admin weren't.. erm... an admin, she probably would have lost to him in a straight up duel.

The command to release the Fluctlight doesn't come from Admin. It has to come from the Fluctlights, i.e the people she's persuading, themselves, willingly surrendering the final defense of their mind. And then after that, she will have to install that brainwashing-program onto their Fluctlights to erase their memories and get them to work for her. However, we don't know how long that process takes. It could take 10 minutes or it could take 3 weeks, I don't remember it being mentioned in the summaries.

Breaking a Fluctlight's mental resilience without them willingly say 'release core protection' takes at most three days, at least in Alice's case. That was from the most recent Alicization volume. After that as Tusjecht and RKL says, 10 minutes is enough to get the Fluctlight loyal to her. The loyalty might backslide eventually, but at first they're still loyal to Admin.

I wonder if Kirito is going to suffer a bad end here. I know that there's a web novel of SAO out there that's actually complete, but the rewrites obviously going to change things, and who knows, things may deviate radically from the original story.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could translate something.
I was told that the Web Novel says the the "Divine Dragon Alliance" was disbanded for some reason, and I decided to check a copy of the Web Novel to confirm...

But the thing is, there was only one mention of DDA (聖竜連合), and it was when Kirito and Cardinal were talking in the Library.

アインクラッドにおいて、強力なプレイヤーを多く集めることに成功した攻略ギルドのリーダーは何人も居たが 、部下を長期間束ねられるに足る統率力とカリスマを備えていた者は実はそう多くない。我の強い剣士たちを抑 えられなかったり、自身の欲が規律の乱れを招いたりしてリーダーの座を放逐される、あるいはギルドごと分解 してしまった例を、俺は随分と見た。ヒースクリフ率いる血盟騎士団と一時期肩を並べていた大ギルド、聖竜連 合の瓦解劇などはその典型だ。

While various events here are completely different to original, non-Progressive worldbuilding - such as during weapon smithing it can have more than 20 taps to create a item - the most interesting thing I've read just now was that the NPC AIs are breaking the limits placed upon them and learning/remembering things they shouldn't be. Kizmel, the Dark Elf working with Kirito, is starting to remember all the times Kirito took her quest back during Beta-stage O_O Other examples of this learning includes Kizmel sneaking into 'safe zone' towns to look for Kirito O_o I haven't finished reading all of the TLed stuff yet, if there's anything else I find that's interesting I'll come and post it here.

In other news, there's so much Kirito+Asuna flags I'm really wondering how the flipping hell did those two split up and not get back together until Floor 74. Going by narrative causality at the current rate in Monochrome Concerto I wouldn't be surprised if those two got married by Floor 10 and Kawahara declared Progressive a AU >.>


Oh, one last thing. A crack theory as to why Kizmel's AI is growing like a freaking Fluctlight: Harem genre protagonist aura strikes once more. Kirito has been raising flags with this 'big sis' type character, to the point at one time Kirito was openly *cough* admiring *cough* Kizmel's curves Asuna commented he'll trip the Harassment Code and be sent to 1st Floor's jail. Kirito automatically replied the Harassment Code only works if he touched anything. He then figured out saying that was practically admitting he was looking though and got hit by Asuna's 'tsun' attacks

Though IMO the biggest support for this WMG is that when Kirito was taking a bath Kizmel stepped in and asked to bath with him >.> Kirito had thought this was a sadistic piece of code to trick people into breaking the Harassment Code to teach people a lesson to not do things to NPCs, and he tried to escape. Emphasis on 'tried'. He slipped on the floor in trying to get dressed and run quickly out of the bathing tent, to the point he tripped and got hit by the <<Stumble>> status :lol: In the end he got roped into washing Kizmel's back with a brush, and he didn't get kicked all the way back to Floor 1 in doing so.

-Kirito isn't 100% sure Argo was a girl

-During Kirito's talk with Argo, she asked to buy the info of where he and Asuna was staying together. Kirito instantly said he's not selling. From this however Argo picked out he's not denying he's staying with Asuna *owned*

-Coat of Midnight has a stealth bonus, but the Coat's stealth does not work against elf NPCs. Kirito got screwed over in Monochrome Concerto in this aspect

-Holy ****, Kirito learned <<Hypersense>> (refer to Vol6 for this Outside System Skill) as far back as Floor 3 >.>

-The 'war of elves' quest, only 3 people finished it during Beta-stage and Kirito was one of them. Morute/'Morte' seems to be another. TLer notes 'Morte' is Italian for 'Death', take it as you will.

-In Duels, you can even start a Sword Skill before the countdown finishes O_o as long as the damage hits AFTER the start signal you won't become a Orange player, it doesn't matter if you hit the other guy 0.001 seconds after it starts... Kirito almost got hit by this one.

That's why I don't consider Monochrome as canon as it creates even more inconsistencies than Rondo.

Berculi probably just used 'Enhance Armament' on Eugeo...remembering from the web novel, the max power of the Time Piercing Sword was a lot more than a few seconds.

And personally, I find that Eugeo took a step towards Kirito's Gary Stu level Power level by learning Release Recollection on the fly, what with his BRS only having enough Life for one more Armament Full Control Art and that.

So his Enhance Armament (for now) allows his sword to cut the future, if his ability is the same as in the web novel, his Release Recollection would be to strike the past.

Interesting that Eugeo's sword can release two memories, the block of ice (the sword) and the rose (the decoration).

I just realized something. Someone maid a paralellism between Dragon Ball and the ridiculous strength the characters in Underworld were reaching. Isn't the full recollection of the Night Sky sword akimnto the genki dama, or spirit bomb for those who recognize the english dub. ¿?

It has been driving me crazy wondering if Kirito wakes up from his coma and Asuna finds him and they end up together for the fact that they are a strong couple and honestly if they wanted to they could skip 25 years in the future were Kirito and Asuna are married and Kirito and Asuna run her families business and Kirito has developed the system a lot further. And it would be an ending that several fans be happy with because if the writer wished he could slowly pull focuse away from Kirito and Asuna making it easier now that fans know it worked out the focuse could gradually be switched to new characters such as their kids or kids of other survivors of SAO playing the games. Just as long as Kirito and Asuna end up together happy in the very end the writer will make good money off of it.
