Where are people seeing the results on things like Weed, Gay marriage, ect.
From Minnesota and curious on how the results went in regards to Gay marriage and Voter ID. All I see is this page, and from here is looks like gay marriage is going to get passed, but everyone I see online is saying Minnesota didn't pass it. http://electionresults.sos.state.mn....ltsStatewide/1 |

Well President Obama is giving his Victory Speech right now. "The Best is yet to come!"
Also I have a recommendation to the President to fix the long lines. Make election day a national holiday already!

Well, Obama said he wants to fix the long lines at the polls... Though I'm not sure what he can do since the main reason for the lines are that long os because of the end of the day or morning rushes.

The question remains -- will the GOP drop the ideologue refusal to compromise? Boehner is already saying 'no new tax under any circumstances' and 'the prez doesn't have a mandate'. Well, the GOP doesn't have a mandate either -- that means compromise and give-take.

Well some of the guys on Fox admitted that the tea party got too strong and because it defined the Republican party instead of the Republican party defining it it ended up hurting them at the polls.

You forgot tax reform and energy independence from foreign oil. He also said equality for everyone so I'm going to just assume he meant gays/lesbians too and not just immigrants and people of different colors.

As for Puerto Rico, I checked the 1956 and 1960 elections (before and after Alaska and Hawaii became states) and then the 1964 election (after DC was allowed to start voting). The two incoming states added 6 electoral votes by 1960 before the census was accounted for. by 1964 and the new census numbers (plus DC would get 3 votes) they had the population to add one more electoral vote and redistributed from there (Hawaii gained one more from 1960 to 1964 and someones else lost 3 to go to the District of Columbia). It was 1964 were we got 538 electoral votes as we have now.

Apparently the Oregon marijuana law is xxxxx failing ... I actually didn't think it was well-written, we'll see how it goes. When you actually *read* the bill it was a regulatory mess. Really, what is it going to take to kick the stupid failed War on Drugs in the balls and get some science involved?
The Washington "adults can marry" proposal is too close to call at the moment?
