Starjun finally used his blazing light saber. Now I wonder how Toriko going to respond this bottomless power of that blade. I'm really liking this battle it's intense and full of awesomeness.

PS: Ironically Mansam was really a handsome guy back in his younger days if you know what I mean ^^''

PS2: Holy crap that creepy guy just beaten Coco? I can't believe this and I wonder what happened to my favorite character in the series now ;w;'

PS3: I think Komatsu is the one who is that of "certain" chief but it would be cliche of course. I'm expecting they are trying to get their hands on Setsuno.

You know, Jirou's appearance at the end reminds me of some speculation that I've been seeing going around for a while now: That he's possible the leader of NEO. I hope and pray to the powers-that-be that it isn't true, mainly because I don't want my favorite old drunk to become an enemy......

^ I suppose the reason people are thinking that is because Ichiryu and Midora are leaders of their organizations. I don't want that either; I've pictured Jirou as a lone wolf kind of person.

The Kings animal partners know a person by the smell, so this means they trust Jirou. Not to mention he's suspecting of that National Treasure Saiseiya, because the beast he's riding he says only someone skilled as Mohyan Shaishai could be capable of reviving such monster. Jirou is indeed a lone wolf, but as he says himself, his retirement has ended today.

Agreed with K. Shiruto and additionally now I'm pretty sure that Shaishai is the one who is responsible for reviving wild beast such as the one Jirou riding and four beast. Then this means that Shaishai totally confirmed for enemy and I am sure he has affilition with shaddy organization who is trying to complicate the things on the battle field, NEO. Jirou is also yeah Lone Wolf but he is really in good terms with Ichiryuu so I am thinking that he is going to support IGO in this battle and like I said before I can't wait to see Romeo and Juliet moment between Setsuno and Jirou when Jirou appears in Setsuno's most dire moment. Because she is facing againist really good opponents even though she is that strong and her calories already consumed by that Hermit and she doesn't have unlimited supply of power. Things are going to get more interesting and hell yeah I am totally loving this long awaited battle between Toriko and his sworn enemy.

In a few chapters I'm pretty sure Toriko's fight with Starjun will turn out as bloody or more than his previous fight against Tommyrod. Expect limbs to fly very soon.

It continues from last week's cliffhanger where Toriko is about to unleash his new "ultimate routine" technique against Starjun. However, just before he fires it out, we cut to a flashback where we see him learning the technique from Aimaru. The two then have a conversation concerning the mechanics of the secret move. After the flashback ends, we see Toriko hitting Starjun with a flying fork move (which actually kinda reminds me of Luffy's Jet Pistol from One Piece, lol). Unsurprisingly, Starjun isn't down for the count, just yet..... Man, too bad there aren't any translations yet, because I'm really interested in the chat between Toriko and Aimaru. My guess is that the new technique is another of those that uses one's "appetite" as its power source. Though I do wonder if Star might have a similar type of technique as his secret weapon.....

marvelB Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005	Chinese scans are out again: Spoiler for Toriko 236: Chapter starts with both Toriko and Starjun getting ready for another round. Meanwhile, we cut back to Mansam, who has a brief flashback of his first meeting with Ichiryuu. He then recovers, and Shigematsu apparently tells him that he attacked him for his own sake (ie stopping him from going berserk). Personally, I don't think it was very effective because Mansam makes one hell of a creepy rape face..... We then get a glimpse of a few of the other ongoing fights. At the hole where both Coco and Grinpatch fell down, we see a figure emerging from its depths..... which turns out to be the Grin alone. Meanwhile, at the Bishokukai's HQ, we see Joejoe (that old man who oversees the production of the GT robos) watching Zebra's fight.... Finally, we go back to Toriko vs. Star. Toriko fires off a heavy assault, but Star is able to counter them...... by drawing out a fire sword..... A much more action-packed chapter than the last couple, for certain! As far as the Grinpatch scene goes, my guess is that Coco's clinging to him or something. I just hope that he didn't pull off some offscreen finisher on him or something. But now I really want to see more of Mansam vs. Shigematsu. We've barely seen the latter throughout the series, so I really want to see his fighting style. And I guess that Joejoe guy is a part of Neo or something, judging by his scene. I even recall it being said that Neo had some spies in the Bishokukai....

It also looks like Toriko has once again evolved his fork and knife techniques; By combining them with his sense of smell, they now have a homing attribute! Later in the battle Star counters one of Toriko's techniques, but the king counters THAT with a 60 ren punch! However, the chapter doesn't end there. No, siree. As we see some new challengers joining the fray: Spoiler: That's right.... It's JIROU AND THE ANIMAL BUDDIES!!! Oh man, I SO can't wait for the translation.....
