New character introduced: Ritsuwo Oda voiced by Kenichi Suzumura

Also, Hideki Shibuya (Professor Silver) is voiced by Tetsu Shiratori, and the Chairman is voiced by Takehito Koyasu.

Looking at all the character designs, the only thing I can say is "wow, those are the worst disguises ever."

Guess I should just hope that gets lampshaded in the series itself.

I'll stick to gg's releases. They usually come out only an hour or two after simulcasts and they're highr quality. Spkeaing of that, Star Driver air-time is out now. It airs 4:00am EST on Sunday so we should get subs around Sunday morning-early afternoon (assuming gg is as fast with series as they have been with HOTD this season). TBH I would've preferred if Star Driver aired on Friday or Saturday but oh well.

Wow cool show, looking at the trailor and such but, He looks a bit like Yugi, when he transforms. This seems to be the season for mech shows, we have this, and Super Robot Wars, and I guess you could count Iron Man.

Like Asobi ni Iku yo!, the story take place in paradise island with clear sea and white sand accompanied with palm tree to perfume the summer vacation, in addition to action, military and mecha/sci-fi elements.

Do you think this show will touch code geass quality?

the animation quality will be better for sure but the pacing and the combats choregraphies ?
