Which is the reason Kotoura thought it was best she left.

Kotoura knows full well that Manabe doesn't care about rushing head first into danger getting hurt or worse for her sake and can't bare the thought of him doing it again. She just dosen't feel she deserves that kind of love or loyalty.

Kotoura-san is a wonderful series so far, and it's high up on my list of possible imports from Japan. I want to see more! ^^;

If you watch a preview, then expect to be spoiled. You might not be, but it should always be expected. I don't watch previews because I don't like spoilers. I don't want to know what is or is not going to happen. Of course, I've now been slightly spoiled about episode 4, but I can't do too much more, other than avoiding all discussions.

I think that nearly every series that I've looked at so far this season is one that I knew nothing about until I started watching. I didn't know about plots, art/character designs, cast or production staff. By not doing any research and not trying every series, I definitely miss some good shows, but 'oh well'. Sometimes, after several weeks, I'll look for info about the series that I haven't tried, but I don't do that too often.

The past episode was charming and a bit sad and disturbing at times, but brings forth more questions and makes me more intrigued. And some of the characters are SO CUTE!!

I wonder if her mother will make an appearance later on in the series given that she's in the opening.

jokes aside, those three episodes had been phenomenal. Such a massive darkhorse of the season, I don't think many of us saw this coming.
My favourite scene is the "interrogation" where you can see the barebones of Moritani's guilt and regret deliciously presented. Such joy (in the words of Kotomine)

I think he was just confused because in the OP, Kotoura was singing! though it's actually Megumi Nakajima singing the OP sing.

On the other hand I think she sang her part in Katyusha well enough in Girls and Panzer.

This has nothing to do with her thinking her friends will blame her for this.

I've seen behavior like Kotoura's multiple times in real life which is why I find it quite understandable and not a "device".

I'd probably also lean more to being stupid. That and just letting her emotions control her. Is angry so hires a hit squad, but then is upset at the idea of Manabe being seriously hurt...As much as she happens to plot about doing things, she really isn't thinking very hard about the consequences.

Turn out in the manga version Moritani actually told her dojo goons that Manabe raped her and didn't want to tell her parent because she felt they'd be ashame. So she asked her goons to beat him up for her. They of course tried too but Manbe put up such a good fight that one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed him. The reason Moritani freaked out afterwards was because she asked them beat Manabe up not try to kill him.

That's rather darker. I can see why they changed that part in the anime. While the series does have some dramatic and dark parts, it still has a kind of line or theme to them.

And this seems to be a 4-koma? Kind of surprised that there's actually a narrative in everything, usually its just oneshot gag strips.

Now that I think about it I guess what Manabe said about Moritani having a dirty mind might ring very much true. Anyone who'd make up a story like that just to hurt another person is sure to messed up in the head.

wow, this anime is probably best this season. I didn't it being like this. I thought it was going to be comedy from now on, but the romance is pretty nice. I'm loving it.

If the anime had followed the manga version, I think I would probably crack my laptop screen out of pure frustration. To accuse Manabe of something so vile is a road of no return.

oh wow, that's really twisted. for an osananajimi no less.no wonder they left it out of the anime it'd be really dark. Moritani haters would rage more and they'd have a harder time integrating the character in the club ( well at least it didn't go the other road...)
