I like the dub more than the jap VAs, the jap ones seems overly dramatic at some times, in the end both versions are perfectly fine.

But gotta agree on one thing though, the localization script is completely abysmall. The translators took too many liberties on localizing the story. Granted, its for the sake for a good lyph-synch but at some times, if not most, the subs translations just didn't match with the japanese audio. These anomalies won't occur if you're playing with dubs though.

And btw, though I like Marina, but it seems I'm the only Oscar fan here. :/

To those who are wondering about Ult. Accuracy, it's a passive potential, in that it automatically activates all the time. This makes Marina the best sniper in the game late-game. Oscar's potentials may make him comparable to her, but they don't always activate.

And I hope Marina kicks ass in the anime.

Btw, the anime website had an update today, but I can't read it. Can someone translate it? I think it has something relating to a magazine or something...

Ah, okay. That's really nice, then. Using the Imperial SG 4 rifle and Ult. Accuracy is just unfairly powerful.

Catherine's accuracy-up potential is activating more routinely, it seems, now, and her Ammo Refill potential is nice. It really helped me in my last mission to have her rip off 6 headshots in a row. Her British accent really seems to fit for some reason. I like it.

I want to know if and how they'll handle some battle things like Aces. Like maybe have an episode about a battle where, maybe, Ty the Immortal is the "enemy" for that episode? Kinda a small deal, but it'd be a nice touch for the game players.

I'm hoping they don't soften up Jane, I hate when they do that.

The Sadist potential creeps me out.

But agreed; the game came first and in my experience so far, about 75% done, has been perfect. I'd hate for the anime to change a good thing.

I'm curious whether all the Dutch references will make it into the anime. The appearance of the locations are pretty sure, but I wonder if the place names will make it in too.

Also, a lot of the topic has been about game stuff, shouldn't that go into the now dust collecting game thread? <_<

I doubt they'll be changed for the anime. After all, unlike many western cultures, the Japanese have an unrequieted love for foreigner names

Have they announced that they'll keep the voice cast of the game, or are they putting up a new cast?

It's going to be hard. I believe that was a limited-edition Japanese poster, so you'd have to scour imageboards for it.

On the first page, I believe.

Well, the guys put "most likely" as the answer. I thought it would be a shame not to use them. Just from reading the description on Wiki, it seems that the seiyuu was chosen for the game with their voices in mind. I mean: Max is not that far away from Lelouch for starters.

As said plenty of times in this thread, i really don't see what the point would be in changing the voice cast. I'm playing the game, and can say like everyone else has that the voice cast are perfect for the roles given. Especially Marina Inoue as Alicia. I can not wait to see her animated.

Well, it is not uncommon to change the voice cast between different mediums (drama CD/game) to anime. Even the anime cast for Lucky Star was not the "original", so to speak.

Then again, SEGA are behind this adaptation, so i'd say there's more of a chance of them sticking with the original cast.

I would pray for the original cast to return, even though I don't play the game. I personally find it jarring to have different seiyuu voicing the same character.

Dallas should be in the anime. I would love her to complicate things for couplings.

Spoiler for Who's Dallas going after, game spoiler:
