The show was already good, but now it's BETTER. What happened?

I just... I have no way of effectively describing how this episode made me feel. It was just that good.

I can't wait for next week now.

I love how the openings have nothing to do with Nichijou, but rather Hyadain himself. Tsubasa wo Kudasai as the ending is a nice touch- a little reminiscent of K-ON, actually. As for the episode, good to see that entering a new stage hasn't caused the comedy to weaken.

I found it strange at first (when watching ED1) , but as the series progress, it slowly confirmed that Yuuko and Nano are the two main characters of Nichijou...

Are you sure about that? I mean Yukko's drawing skills are a bit... and she is a bit clumsy.
But since it is already hinted in the series, expect something to come in that direction.

Tsubasa wo Kudasai was used prominently one other time, other than K-ON!.

I personally like Megumi Hayashibara and Houkago Tea Time's respective versions, but I do admit that hearing it done as the ending theme for Nichijou was quite a pleasant surprise. Brought back some pleasant memories from both shows (for Evangelion, I even had some reminiscence of the original series). Good times.

A popular folk song composed by Murai Kunihiko and written and Yamagami Michio, first released by Akai Tori on July 25, 1971 in their Takeda no Komoriuta album. Due to its popularity, the song was recuted as their ninth single, "Tsubasa wo Kudasai". Since then, "Tsubasa wo Kudasai" was covered by various artists in Japanese and English.

Best episode yet. Nano was really cute. More Sakamoto is always a good thing. He is my all-time favorite anime cat by far. And the detail in the ED was AMAZING! Someone has to take that and draw a map of their town.
