This reminded me of Marie Antoinette, funny enough; she was accused of treason and executed under a false charge. But no one knew that she was a REAL traitor until long after she died, when a letter to that effect was uncovered.
With their respective positions, Lindt would simply have to send Sergei to the front lines somewhere if he wanted to get rid of the man. Sergei can't oppose the A-LAWS, so if they really wanted to or needed to remove him, they could without having to resort to lies.

Send Sergei to an active war zone. He'll be too preoccupied with the situation and staying alive, to be in the way of A-LAWS.

I think that's exactly what will be happening in episode 10, as the spoilers mentions Sergei being sent to the Sairu (spelling?) Kingdom in the Middle East. I have a really bad feeling about that episode.

For a second, I thought Sergei is going to shed a tear when he pass by Cherudim after giving the signals.

I like the hugging scene, epic.

He'll think he knows, and he'll be right. That's almost the same as knowing. Sure, it's all circumstantial. But A-Laws aren't the type to care.

You guys already said everything, no need to add up, except one thing...
That last scene, hug and kiss between Allelujah and Mary, was awesome and the ending music was quite fitting for that scene.

I think CB should destroy Soma's Ahead. This way Lindt and A-Laws will think that she's dead and not come looking for her. Remember in SEED when Athrun blew up the Strike everyone thought that Kira was dead and didn't bother to go looking for him. One of the Gundams should take a few shots at the Ahead's cockpit. This should achieve the same effect as it did in SEED.

Are the scenes of Soma's flashback redrawn? It look quite different from the season 1 episodes.

As a high-profile member of society, Sergei can't get arrested quietly. So at least some sort of explanation needed to be offered to the media as a cover story. A trumped-up charge would be made, I am sure of it.

And when the news breaks on TV, Marie will hear about it. Guess what she would do when that happens?

Sergei Smirnov is beyond any doubt a true man's man. That cowering pussy Arba Lindt is nowhere near his level of awesomeness.

Sergei is respected by the viewer not because of battle prowess, but what he stood for as a person. He is one of the few people in the show you can't morally fault, yet he isn't a goody-two shoes who go around judging other people either. Such characters are usually killed off early in the show in order to leave room for the less perfect characters to shine and grow, but in this case Sunrise is keeping him alive for something.

So his death is inevitable? I want to see him survive and see the new reformed world.

Dying later, to save the less perfect character from certain death.
