I heavily enjoyed this episode since Koko's strategy really was one of those brilliant moments and this story is really grounded with some believable politics.

The only thing I don't like is the over abundance of crazy people and and cocksure smilers, but it's a relatively minor issue.

I suspect nothing is ever what it seems with Koko.

Does everyone think koko's strategy at the end was brilliant? I thought it was a reckless and unnecessary gamble. I mean, if it was possible for the ccat people to shoot their way out on their own then it would have been much easier to do so as a whole group. Why drop your weapons and surrender while hoping the enemy would let you pass?

Because a group could be more easily exterminated than three people who could sneak away?

The most important thing is they were heavily outnumbered. From the looks of it, an entire unit had them surrounded. That could most likely be a battalion sized formation.

There are four more pages, Koko successfully conned Revy into buying a bunch of useless junk.

It's an officially sanctioned crossover manga made by the Jormungand author, for a Black Lagoon artbook.

Were they simply hoping? I thought she had it pre-prepared judging from Koko asking Jonah to check if her phone worked.

Not to mention that Koko had already built goodwill by establishing rapport with the guy leading that assault and advising him to pull back from the upgraded Hind-Es, as well as knowing that they would prefer to get their revenge on the CCAT people, since Mildo/Mildred killed two of those army guys.

My god. I mean, I found Koko adorable (in a devil kind of way) in the manga already, but the anime just tenfolds it. The VA is perfect. Her sqeals and smiles makes my heart melt ;_;

And I hope the trend with the music continues. I like me some electronic.

The Music was epic in my book. I got was half out of my seat when that kickass tune started about the same time Valmet and Mildred started going at it. Just way too much awesome!

That was a unexpected turn of events. To think that the opposing side just let them walk away... I guess it was a good thing Koko and the other left their escorts unharmed.

I thought it was pretty reckless. For them to get away, the leader of the hunting group have to be the very same guy who came into contact with Koko and have to be less than professional and bear a grudge and go after the CCAT group despite direct order. I thought it was a pretty smart move given how deep they were in for, until the CCAT group came out unscathed. Then I was like O.o? Why bother risking it then?

In the end, I think Koko did it just for the lulz and getting back at the CCAT group leader for his earlier remark about her having the heavy equipments to sale. She is Koko the loco, after all. Some things are better done with swag.

I thought a point in her character this episode was just how crazy she was, but her intuition is often good and gets through tough situations.

Just finshed the first episode and could it be possible that my long search is over. I have been waiting for a series that gets me pumped up like Black Lagoon did and i might have finally found it. Some nitty gritty and dark with a dash of seasoned humor. A Child solider and a band of some of the most ruthless mercenaries on the planet right up my ally, I do like the premise and using a child solider in an African setting with connect the viewers with the real world. Action was great and so were the one liners, Koko is most def unusual and is also more than meets the eye,

Currently downloading episode 2 i love the preview song lol.

Favorite line from episode 1

"Shoot first ask never" lol
