Eww really? You just had to go and do that last scene where they all run in CG? As always, CG looks awful if it's obvious.. :x

Other than that.. not bad episode. Can't wait for what's to come, but I hope they cut on the flashbacks in middle of fights :x

apparently he is from a filler a little while ago. I don't know for sure since I dont watch them, but it doesn't really matter even if he isn't. I kinda liked how it showed that these other villages and their ninja have their own lives and their own events and people that have shaped them even though we haven't seen it in the story as much or at all like we have with Konoha and Sunagakure especially. it gives the meshing of the five villages in the alliance more meaning to see that these lesser known villages have personalities of their own

It's a filler episode...an episode which, surprisingly, wasn't that bad

i thought that he'd be from a filler arc ,because i don't remember reading about any Ganryu in the manga

other than that i hope they don't use much cg or 3-d animation in the coming episodes

I hate to say it, but I do think they will use 3D/CG for Big battles not for the small ones like 6v6 or something. Its just more pratical I think. Its not what I wan't, but I reckon thats what will happen.

The war finally began.
Each side was preparing their traps and battlefield.
Akatsuki sure has some good soldiers on their side.
If there weren't for those reanimated guys things would be easier.
Guess that's what makes it even more interesting.. Akatsuki's unpredictability.
Seeing your dead friends/family fighting against you just sucks.

The real issue in this episode was how pale Sai looks, dude needs a spray tan or two.

Yeah for sure, guy needs to go to the tanning booth, got to look good for the babes.
That Sasori puppet was wicked, totally loved that scene.
I don't really get that Onoi guy or however you spell it.
Going to be nice too see what kind of past Sai has next week.

One thing I'm wondering about Edo Tensei: are these resurrected Akatsuki at "full strength", for a lack of a better word? I hope not because it'd be a shame to see two Akatsuki members defeated at once after all their previous buildup in the story. I kinda felt that way too after Kisame's quick loss.

Sasori doesn't have his puppets, it's like having a swordsman fight without a sword. Deidara was never really smart when fighting, back when he captured Gaara they had planned it ahead of time, but now he is doing dumb things like flying down to a hole instead of dropping a bomb into the hole.
