Some people theorized that that third person is a brother, imho the person is their father, since he'd be the one missing.
We heard something about a divorce and their mother pushing the custody to the uncle. But don't you guys think thats strange? You need a rather strong case to give custody to an uncle when another parent is still alive, yet it didn't seem like they actually resented their father... In fact the MC didn't even say 'our parents got divorced' he said ' She got divorced and selfishly shoved custody over to our uncle' No word about the father until now though.

Isn't MC's "3rd sibling's" hair color closer to Tomori's? Maybe that person is her older brother or something.
Besides, if you look at 2nd promo picture (the one with laboratory), one of the two standing (the one with blue eye glow) has ash colour hair, and another one, who looking from his legs, is looks like Yuu? Atleast, his hairstyle and lime eye glow is the same as Yuu's. |

Also I get the feeling that this school for superpowered kids is a state-based institution created to keep them in check. It is suspicious that they were able to assign such a huge apartment to just two siblings.

Episode 1: Some shit happened
Ah, so here we are at again. Charlotte is PA Works and Key's most recent collaboration and we're left wondering if it can exceed it's previous masterpiece somewhat decent work disaster incomprehensible mess errr... alright Angel Beats. And so we have the anime version of Mystery Men! As a starting episode, it wasn't bad. It did what it had to do and set the backdrop for the amusing things that may happen, but I was left feeling bored in some spots but at least it had its moments.

The Archon screencaps are back! Now I have a reason to follow this on a weekly basis
And putting this against Yahari shows how much friggin PA Works has degraded over the years in the character design department. I'm beginning to think not even Kyoani isn't as bad with the sameface as of late... Last edited by Pocari_Sweat; 2015-07-06 at 06:25. |

last time I read Archon's screencaps is at Little Busters! thread
I got several new insights from those review This ride is going to be fun for sure However 13-episodes make me worry somehow... I don't think Key can deliver some critical feels in just 13 episodes (they didn't do a good job in their previous 13-episode anime) |

Hmm, although I would say I like these designs are a bit better than Angel Beats. They're not as fishy. It's more of a consistency issue. It seems like the NPCs are signifigantly less attractive but I guess that's nothing unusual. In theory I would claim that Na-Ga is better designs than most of Hinoue's.

Well I had lots of fun I kinda like the MC despite him being an ass. The cast is all pretty likable so far and the pacing is leagues better than Angel Beats. Has has enough good stuff to keep me watching.
As for people saying about Yumi's reaction to dumping him, yea I think it needed a bit more build up. But, when he ran after she fell I could see it going down hill after that and sort of exposed his true character to her better. Then his excuses for not seeing her sounded ridiculous from her standpoint. I'd react the same. Loving the music and the designs are much better than Angel Beats! anime designs. |

I am willing to bet that Yumi has special powers, and is partially in on the entire act. This isn't the last we would see of her. Also, I agree with the interpretation that the way Yumi dumped the MC, is actually her real self without any social masks on.

Ummmmm..guys, despite that this anime has a super natural setting, should i expect it to be a tearjerker anime instead of comedy or battle anime?
I just noticed the person who wrote the series's script for the anime.... and this doesn't look good for my heart. |
