would you mind to give one or two exapmple of how much does it cost you with EMS?
just see what to expect.

i know how it felt to wait a month"i am waiting for my book"(but actually,is when their searching for suppiler take up a month),and item lost without payback give me the most damage

anyway, the figure world are that fast, lots and lots of waiting involve...
I usually buy my figure in 2 or 3 form HLJ. The EMS rate is about 25 or so. Basically the more you buy the less the shipping cost per figure.

Amazon Japan?

They don't ship figures outside of Japan. If you want to buy figures from them, you'll need to use a deputy service.

So about $124.60 US dollars what you paid after discount.

But that's after converting SGD which is stronger than the US dollar. Also SGD is only 70 yen to 1 SGD so basically if you look at as a japanese product in their currency it's the same price in both countries.

But for me minus shipping and no tax for me to order it straight from japan. As long as the dollar doesn't keep falling the same figure is $71.00 US, plus say $10.00-$20.00 for shipping.

chison The receipt isn't to hard to read it's not from HLJ if that's what's confusing you.

Figure $147.00 US
Discount -$22.40 US (guessing preorder perk)
Subtotal $124.60 US
GST 7% (Goods and Services Tax) Sales Tax $8.15 US
Grand Total $132.75 US
Cash Deposit (paid a portion of it up front) $42.00 US

Remaining Balance $90.75 US
This is so funny.

I don't see what's funny he said he paid 89 SGD which is 124 US dollars if you convert it. So my currency conversation was dead on.

It looks weird since it looks twice as expensive if you were in singapore and were paying in US dollars.

As I said before if you wanted to pay in US dollars then buy it in america or order it straight from japan and get it for the MSRP price.

It must be nice for MakubeX2 to live in a country where your able to walk into a store and buy or pre-order the newest figures for a decent price.

89.00 SGD = 64.2646 USD

The dollar is weak, but not that weak. The world will currently be in an economical meltdown state if going by your example.

Internet has made the world a smaller place. As I have said, the dealer in which I placed the reservation had a online front and their shipping prices is very competative in comparisons with HLJ.

DON"T EVER ORDER form Hobbysearch.

Last Oct i order one of the Shuraki figures and in Feb the status was in "Preparing to Ship." I just found out they cancel the order even through the status was in preparing to ship and item is in stock.

f**k HobbySearch i am NEVER order form them again. i don't think they even understand the meaning of customer service.

Question about them: They're listed as trading figures and descriptions say they come in "Display Box of 8." Does that mean you get a random assortment of the heads? Would you have to buy multiple boxes, or find someone to trade with, to get them all?
I'm not sure about the trading stuff. @.@; But I agree, they're very cool. o-o

Yup yup, Rika is very cute. ^_^

Anyways, I don't like Naruto, I always liked Sakura though, so I now have this Sakura figurine (not my picture). She is hard to put together:
