Yukina was great in this chapter. I want her relationship to progress with Shigure, but at the same time I do also want to see her maintaining the success of her cell-phone novel as well.

Shigure has indeed been lacking from the latest chapters though. Seems he's focused on studying at his villa for now, but I want to know what's really going through his head.

Well there's a translation script for ch 47 in mangafox's thread.. but there's still no ch 48 translation. The raws are also in chinese so that I couldn't read any of it

Shoujo manga always has the problem for me that the side pairings always ends up better than the main pairing

There's some exception...but most of them ends up this way for me

Haha glad I'm not alone. I know the male lead is supposed to move mountains for a shoujo main character, but there's absolutely nothing redeemable about Yukina...

Akira actually looks cool for a second when he stands up for Mami.

I am not convinced of Hisame's "love" for Mami, not when he is beyond creepy. Granted, he is overshadowed by his more popular and capable brother, but heck, I don't think people under similar circumstances would grow up to be so twisted.

I could see it as being realistic. He's loved her for a long time, but she only ever had eyes for his brother. Now, that's not enough to twist him, but say she basically ignored him. One day, he teases her and gets a reaction. He keeps teasing, and keeps getting reactions. He subconsciously realizes that this is the only way for her to notice him, even if it's negative. Just as a lover wants to be closer to the one they love, so does he, so he amps up the teasing, not truly realizing what he's become until it's too late.

Not saying it's forgivable or right or anything, just that it's not totally unrealistic.

As a female, I can tell you confidently no girls would ever fall for a guy who use such tactics. Had he conducted himself in a more appropriate manner, showed more patience and perseverance in gaining Mami's love, he might still have a chance to win Mami's heart.

DAMN STRAIGHT. Hisame just pure, concentrated asshole. (lolwut) Well, I mean, he is cruel. I doubt Hisame hatred for Shigure is just limited to him having Mami love and affection. Yukina is now capable fighting back even though she is tied up. Also I'm pretty sure that the camara is still recording the whole thing between Hisame and Yukina. Why do I get the feeling that Hisame will use what he has and is still quite possibly recording to hurt Shigure. __________________

sky black swordman Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: California	Spoiler for Chapter 47: Well it looks like Hisame and Yukina a pretty interesting conversation about love (I'm guessing since I can't read japanese) and for the moment it would appear as though Hisame won't be using the recording he made of Yukina. Elsewhere Akira and Mami are having interesting conversation, I don't what it's all about but it ends with Mami hugging Akira!!! What's more is that Yukina sees this embrace!!! Spoiler for Chapter 48: Continuing from where chapter 47 left off, Yukina as expected is greatly surprised to see them hugging. Unable to understand why they are hugging and unable to watch any longer she runs off. Akira and Mami finish their conversation and go their separate ways but not before Mami gives Akira one of her hair pins to keep his hair from covering his eyes. One thing led to another Yukina ended up brushing Akira's hair at which point she discovers the hair pin and appears to try to take away (maybe she is jealous?). However, Akira doesn't allow her to take it from him. Hisame calls Yukina out to talk to her or so it appears. It turns out it may be a distraction to get Yukina out of the house. Yukina runs back home to find Akira and Mami together again! (gasp) Akira is apparently giving Mami the hair pin back her, but are interrupted by Yukina's sudden arrival followed by Hisame's arrival as well. As always Hisame begins to harass Mami only to have Akira step in to defend her. Mami hids behind while Akira says a few things to Hisame, one of things said by Akira piss Hisame off, who proceeds to throw a punch at Akira only to hit Yukina who jumped in front of Akira to protect him. (You are so dead, Hisame! ) The force of Hisame's punch sends Yukina flying, slaming her head against the brick fence of her house!
