Forget his ninja skills.

Brera pilots the most state of the art Variable Fighter in the Macross universe. He's one of the few that can actually pilot the damn thing. He could have had some epic Itano Circus in the first movie, too bad they relegated the VF-27 to guard duty.

I always love the idea of BreraxSheryl. When I saw that 'scene'
in the first movie I think they actually look pretty cute together.
Although I must say that there's not that much chemistry between
them, at least not from Sheryl's side. But if we're talking about
handsomeness, Brera gets the prize. I think he's more like a man
than Alto.

I still prefer AltoxSheryl all the way, more because I hate AltoxRanka,
and I hope Ranka to end up ALONE

You know, the original post did say that monicokoma kinda likes Ranka, from the outset.

Also, the point was that "things would be different" if Ranka was either around the age of 24, or more mature. I'd imagine that things would be "different" (i.e. not the same) if you changed any aspect of the characters, no?

If you're going to be deliberately literal, might as go all the way.

I thought moncikoma mostly hated Ranka (even tho he also likes her a bit) but things would change if Ranka reaches the age of 24, so moncikoma would change from "mostly hated Ranka" to "mostly like Ranka"....

Pretty much both are going to be beautiful. Sheryl, though, already looks quite different than her mum, so the comparison doesn't work completely.
