So it seems Bloody Palace will be released as free DLC sometimes after the game launch.

Call me hater or whatever but no way in hell am I believing that they wanted to release BP as free DLC. You do not cut a basic feature only to release it as free DLC later. They charged for the true ending of Asuras Wrath.

I am happy someone just doesn't hate/is disappointed with the new reboot.

Frankly speaking the Dante look in DMC4 wasn't cool - he looked mature but with the bishounen white hair it was ridiculous. Though in DMC1 Dante looked classy...

Design-wise the reboot looks cool (to me at least) and even with those "F**K YOU!". Who cares about that, lol?

Gameplay-wise I can't really stand to judge the game before playing it myself.

Some people think the gameplay is bad because of the lack of devil arms. which in that music video we saw the shotgun, fist weapons, and some kind of ... disk thing? Prob diffrent versions of his parents weapons?

The sword swings still look slow, awkward, and choppy to me.

The only problem with DMC4 Dante were the chaps. And not only are there already two confirmed unlockable skins with white hair, the patches you can see in NuDante's hair indicate he'll end up with the "bishounen white hair" too.

There are eight weapons. Five melee and three guns. And the nature of the control scheme (dedicating a whole button just to launch for example) means they each have have less moves than DMC4's weapons.

It's because of the engine they used to make this game, it cannot handle that fast paced gameplay.

Also disc locking Bloody Palace lol DMC4 when released you just need to finish the game in normal to unlock it now it's timed patch lock. As for skins and costumes DMC3 had all previous DMC and even more costumes for free which are unlockable and the special edition featured Vergil as a playable character.

The guy who uploaded it says it's on Normal difficulty. And I agree about the combat even though the guy keeps doing the same three-four hit combo and a few stingers here and there. He also kept hitting the clone when it looked like he was trying to to hit Vergil. Lack of lock on much.

Sometimes I wonder if people get stupider when they play this game. So many demo walkthroughs against the first boss and they can't realize you can simply grapple to dodge.

It's just that I didn't expect them to have his hair all-white at the end. I thought his black hair color was intended as a contrast to Vergil, possibly symbolizing their allegiance (white hair for the demons).

As for the ending fight. I don't know... the fight itself wasn't very ending-like. It doesn't feel grand at all, more like a temporary fight between buddies IMO. But I do like how after the fight they seem to be still more "friendly" toward each other compared to DMC3 fight.

And a sequel? Capcom is primarily motivated by profit and sales so if the game does well, they'll try to make money of it if the thought of a franchise may bring in money.
