“Ha ha!”

The masked villain cackled, hovering above the city square he had blasted to smithereens.

Dust settled to reveal a sixteen-year-old girl with long dark hair, her fringes spiking out. Her right hand was outstretched, leaving her unharmed except a few tears into her sailor fuku uniform.

“Kamijou Touka!” the generic villain shouted, landing onto the shattered tarmac. “Give up and face the truth: I, the Masked Fury, shall be the King of Neo Academy City! I am not negotiating nor kidding, you damn brat! Don’t make me tear you into bits!”

His masks blinked with its thousands of artificial eyes, focused on the bearer of the Imagine Breaker.

“Not a chance,” Touka said between gritted teeth. “I won’t let you. To quote a certain someone, ‘I’ll break that illusion of yours!’”

The Masked Fury spread his arms and laughed. “Ha! You’re really annoying, just like your pops.”

Immediately afterwards, glass shattered on nearby buildings, civilians feeling the area.

Shards of glass levitated in the air and melded together into strange projectiles.

“Let’s see if you’re good at this Touka,” said the Masked Fury, wagging his finger mockingly. “Do you think you can stop 900 km/h projectile fired in multiple directions? As far as I know, you can’t be a several places at once to use your Imagine Breaker. Let’s prove or disprove the theory!”

“Kuh!”

Glass projectiles fired into the crowds. Touka managed to dash and negate one, but it wasn’t good enough.

Strangely, the missiles had been stopped anyhow, then redirected at the Masked Fury, who dodged them hastily.

“Geez, do you really think you’re smart with such an attack?” an plainly-dressed albino girl asked sardonically, landing next to Touka. “Still relying on vectors, aren’t you? You’re so pitiful that it ain’t funny.”

“Yuriko!” Touka said with a smile.

“I’m only here to clean up this mess. If you think for one second I’m here to help you, think again,” she said with a frown.

“Not to interrupt you two,” the Masked Fury interjected,” but I believe we were in the middle of something here, weren’t we?”

The standoff began. Touka and Yuriko stood their ground while the Masked Fury began waving his arms again.

“Fools! I will defeat you! Prepare to feel my true—”

Then suddenly, the Masked Fury was ran over by a motorcycle-riding dumbass.

The dumbass got off the Dragon Rider Mk7 and removed her helmet, revealing a girl and her messy blond hair.

It was Hamazura Shizuka, who was confused at what had just happened. “So, uh, where’s the villain or whatev’?”

“You ran over him, you moron,” Yuriko snarled.

“M-M-M-My s-s-s-spineeee…” the generic villain muttered, laying there, defeated by the airheaded Shizuka.

“Ouch,” Touka said, crouching down, “I think we’ll need an ambulance. Can you call your father Yuriko?”

“Oh sure, because just because my father’s Heaven Canceller Jr., I have to—”

“Just do it Yuriko-san.”

I wrote this when I was bored at school.

You should check out the Images thread, I posted about it there first. Unless if you're talking about its presence in danbooru, which I think has been ignored for quite some time already for the newer incarnations of that fancomic series.

Ruiko blushed softly as she extended her pinky above her head staring at something invisible, her phone/mp3 playing music.

"Red String of Fate, huh?" Ruiko asked herself, the memory of earlier still fresh in her mind.

Ruiko laughed happily among her friends as they sat in the park shortly after school. They had arrived together earlier, planning on having a lazy afternoon with school being done till monday.

"So, Saten-san...tell us. Is there someone you like?" Izumi asked as she turned to look at her friend, the others all smirking as they too looked to Ruiko for answers.

Ruiko jumped in surprise, a blush quickly spreading across her cheeks. "Eh? W-Wha-What are you talking about?" Ruiko questioned trying to divert the attention from her.

"Oh come on, Saten-san. You can't hide this from us. We saw you with that guy last sunday." Izumi shot back, easily stopping Ruikos' futile attempts.

"Eh? Last sunday?" Ruiko wondered as she tried to remember the previous week. "Oh right...White Day..."

Ruiko flushed once more as she remembered the "date" (for lack of better words) that she had with Touma. It had been a fun time between the two. They had spent the entire day hanging out with Touma taking her to the arcade, dinner at Joey's, a walk in the park, and some ice cream to top it all off.

To her, it had been a perfect day. She wouldn't trade any day for it no matter what. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, Ruiko focused her attention back to the matter at hand.

"So come on, Saten-san. Spill it. Who is that guy you were hanging out with?" Izumi asked, the other girls nodding their head, urging Ruiko to tell the truth.

"Nuh uh. I'm not telling you his name." Ruiko said as she crossed her arms shaking her head. Ruiko didn't want to give up his name...at least not yet.

"Oh come on! For all we know Saten-san, He and you could be destined by the Red String of Fate!" Izumi insisted wanting to know more about the guy that had gotten Ruiko's attention...though it wasn't all that hard to be honest, but Izumi had a sneaking feeling about the guy she was with last sunday.

She couldn't quite place WHERE she had seen him, but there was something lingering in her mind about him.

Ruiko stayed quiet as she took in her friends words. 'The Red String of Fate, huh? Isn't that kind of an outdated notion to use now-a-day? I mean, no one can ever really know if they're destined to be together until they try right?' Ruiko thought to herself before shaking her head once more.

"No way. You guys won't get a thing out of me." Ruiko stated boldly and with finality.

The friends continued to argue and try to persuade Ruiko for a while longer before Ruiko had to head home due to curfew.

Ruiko blushed once more before shaking her head. "Nah...it couldn't be true." Ruiko said to herself before the music stopped playing and her phone started buzzing.

Ruiko took a quick glance and chuckled to herself when she noticed it was a text from Touma.

To the unseen eyes, a invisible red string tried to the pinky finger of Ruiko trailed out the window to the outside world...where it ended...was anyone's guess...save for the goddess who tied each red string.

....Ok now that, that is out of my system...I think I may have more.

PS: Fun fact is that I literally pulled that whole thing outta my ass and on the fly. NOTHING was planned.

When does this take place?

After NW 2 or before WW3? I'm having trouble pinning it down because while its clear Touko comes from post Fiamma, I can't say its nearly as clear for Touma.

Also, I get the distinct feeling that Touko is going to find out more and more that Touma outstrips her by quite a ways, and may end up jealous of him. Accelerator level jealous.

Spoiler for answer:

Touko got beaten by Fiamma on the Star of Bethlehem, after her right arm got severed the invisible thing fought trying to escape. Fiamma didn't stare in shock like in canon, and proceeded to take the chance to eliminate Touko.

After all, if Terra already have some inkling about Imagine Breaker then surely Fiamma would know just as much if not more - so Fiamma's not too surprised by the power of 'La Persona Superiore a Dio' being stopped.

Eventually I'll include a flashback to Touko's fight with Fiamma in the story - just don't expect it to be anytime soon.

In the next few chapters I'll make it clear this Touma is from days before being sent to Avignon. Though I might mess around with the dates a bit.

As for your other speculations, I will neither confirm or deny the truth of the matter.

Can’t get a break

Two days had passed since Kihara S. Kamiko became a regular at A Certain High School.

Saying it hadn’t been tedious and nerve-racking to keep up the act was a gross understatement.

But soon, everything would fall in place and the evil plan would come to fruition.

At least now, in his dark lab of manliness deep underground, he could rest.

There wouldn’t be any annoying characters to—

“Onii-chan, I’m bored. Play with me.”

Kamiko face-faulted that very instant.

Basement Dweller

“Nayuta, you damn brat! What did I tell you about barging into my evil lair without my permission!-?”

Faced with her cousin’s snarls, the blonde pigtailed twelve-year-old sighed.

“Honestly Onii-chan, you’re turning into some sort of recluse.”

Kamiko huffed.

“I’m not a recluse. I’ve been… doing things.”

The young teen mumbled and turned away.

Nayuta frowned, unaware of her cousin’s secret identity.

She stared for a few seconds before understanding.

In her mind, she said clearly,

He even developed that kind of addiction, hasn’t he…!

Not so different

Nayuta stood firm and pointed to her feet.

“Bend over and give me a piggyback ride!”

Kamiko sneered with an arrogant pose.

“Bug off.”

“Gimme gimme gimme!”

“No.”

“YES!”

“NO, YOU SHITTY BRAT!”

The two went face-to-face, their noses wrinkled.

Then…

“Sniff…”

Nayuta’s eyes dampened; she trembled and hugged her own shoulders.

“O-Onii-chan doesn’t’ care about his N-N-Nayuta-chan that cares for him so much… Bawww…”

“FINE!”

Kamiko shot to his knees and puffed his cheeks.

…

In a certain apartment, in District 7…

“‘Misaka wants to get a piggyback ride!’ says Misaka says Misaka as she tugs at you sleeve!”

“Bug off, I’m sleeping...”

History repeats itself, as they say.

Obligatory gag

After twenty minutes of being used as a makeshift pony, Kamiko collapsed in exhaustion.

Satisfied, Nayuta asked,

“I’m thirsty... Oh, that’s this?”

Her eyes gawked at a human-sized refrigerator the corner.

It seemed to have a heavenly glow to it, as if brand new.

“Don’t mind mind me, I’ll take something from—”

“NOOOO~! YOU MUSTN’T~!”

Kamiko threw himself between the fridge and Nayuta, blocking the way.

“Why not? It’s just a—”

“IT’S DEFINITELY NOT FOR A LITTLE GIRL LIKE YOU~!”

With dubious eyes, Nayuta gazed at her cousin.

“Um, okay—”

“DON’T LOOK AT ME LIKE A CRAZY PERSON~! THAT FRIDGE-KUN IS OFF-LIMITS~!”

“But why—”

“Look, you don’t open this fridge under any circumstances. Ever.”

Kamiko grasped her hand and dragged her away, adding,

“Let’s go to a café or something.”

As she was dragged away and stared at the mystic Fridge-kun that was calling out to her, an epiphany hit her.

Don’t tell me that he uses a refrigerator to store his perverted books…!

Ten bucks to whoever guesses what the S stands for in Kihara S. Kamiko (think epic WTF crack for the answer).
