Super Pill weight loss plan? (manga spoilers)

Ok, let's try this again since the spoiler tags didn't work last time and the thread got nuked at the last reset. (sigh)

After reading chapter 191 of the manga I noticed that Choji (sp?) had lost a lot of weight and is a whole lot thinner after using all three pills. Was I seeing that right? And if that's true, then do those pills somehow boost the chakra by jacking the metabolism through the roof and boosting the body side of the Chakra? IF that's true that would explain a lot about how they work. IT would also explain all the pain he was feeling as well as his concern that he might die from eating one. Because if what I'm guessing is true, once you run out of fat and energy, or whatever else the pills decide to make the body feed itself off of, then you would die. Kinda like going from a fatboy to a starved child in five minutes flat. (imagine how many people would go nuts for a diet plan like that!! hehe) Can anyone clarrify this for me?

I think that you're most likely right, it's pretty obvious choji loses much weight. The pills must accelerates the metabolism, transforming the stamina into chakra extremely quickly without any control.
The user dying quickly, his vital energy being completely exhausted.
Like the butterfly a superb but extremely short life.

Choji will probably die. He said he would before he took the last pill. Anyway it seems that the pills did indeed speed up his metabolism, converting most of his body fat into chakara. Losing that much weight in less than a minute would send his body into shock, so without treatment he's dead.

Yeah, the spoiler tags aren't working yet. I figure though that the admins will fix that soon. I also hope Choji doesn't die. I like him, even if he is a silly fat***. But the way he went down at the end I think he'll live as he still looks like he's got a little fat on him and is not totally wasted away (you gotta remember, that was one seriously fat boy when he started, so he ought to have plenty of fat to work off for a while) but most probubly in shock from the super uber weight loss. But considering how much food that peewee fighter can pack away, I doubt he'll be skinny long.

Because they changed to different kind of forum type, or that their old version or whatever had a modification, so after the reboot/deletion/whatever their modifaction might have been deleted aswell, just a guess from silly me

i think the reason why the pepper pill is so dangerous it focuses every thing chakra and body fat into one area making it very hard to recover

they actually say somewhere in the manga that choujis family passes down a technique that great increases strength but sends the metablosim through the roof and thus is so fitting for their chubby genes......go meat tank!

I'm thinking that Soldier pills do something similar, but on a much smaller scale. The red, green, and blue (or whatever colors they were) pills that Choji had are like soldier pills super sized.

Choji fights against one of Oro's evil 4 (the big fat guy with a bad haircut and an even worse attitude) to keep him at bay while the rest of his team goes to rescue Sasuke. Choji has to use super soldier pills to beat this guy and finally does, but at the cost of much damage to his body. It's theory that he'll die, but right now, taking this from a writers perspective and my own experiences doing novels, I don't see that happening just yet. It just doesn't seem like the right time in the story for him to bite it. I may be wrong, but I don't feel he's down for good. Just out for a bit. Just like Lee. Lee will come back eventually, but not right away.

Actually I think exactly the opposite.
I say that I hope that Choji dies since the chapter 189 for several reason.
First because if you can win against anybody just by eating a pills, it will be the lamest thing in all the series, there are no meaning of prohibit this pills if you don't die by eating them.
And seriously I hope that Kishimoto will slow down a little the curse seal/demon inside/pills point, it's too 'easy'

But more significant, all the symbolism of the butterfly indicates the death of Choji, and if he dies, there are no way that Sasuke can return in Konoha like that and it's in this direction that the manga goes for the moment.

Then if Choji dies, Lee will most likely survive.
There are no way that two secondary main characters dies in the same time.
Haku died in the volume 4, 7 volume after that Hayate died, 5 volume after Hayate the 3rd died, and 6 volume after that it's the turn of Choji.
