It isn't surprising to see Aniplex producing it, and I'm curious to see who gonna animate it (I'm leaning towards Bones and its sister studio Kinema Citrus). If so, I bet the Toho show for noitaminA might be Yowamushi Pedal.

Indeed, that's what I call top class CGI. They went all out for the budget.

There seem to be pretty strong rumors that it's Gonzo, though I'm skeptical. BONES or A-1 seem to make the most sense.

After Last Exile:Fam, that's open for debate. But yes, they're still plugging away in much-reduced form.

They just helped out on a couple of Zetsuen no Tempest episodes as well as a psycho pass episode recently.

I've heard that rumor too...not sure how I'd feel about it though. It would really depend on who's directing it.

The Gonzo rumor is probably based upon this:

Quote:
Gonzo business producer Tetsurō Machida stated on his Twitter account on Thursday that after finishing a meeting about Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF), a meeting was held in the evening about casting for the studio's upcoming July program.

Machida did not reveal what the program's title was, although he noted his nervousness when Amazon sent an automated email to him, recommending the title of an unannounced July program. However, he noted that Amazon might have sent that automated email after noticing that he had been searching for the original work that inspired the program for business research.
Gonzo's doing an adaptation for the summer. This is an adaptation for the summer. According to fan logic, they must be the same thing.

Hmm ... well, I enjoy reading the manga for sure, tho atm it seems to be kinda dragging it's heels a little (at least imo).

I am very curious to see what they will adapt and where they will cut the story off. Hmm....

The noitaminA block might no longer be an hour long block after this season. So far they've confirmed Silver Spoon in Summer and a new original anime for Fall. That seems to indicate they're going back to a single slot, probably due to the awful ratings decline.

I hope the original anime that will air this fall will probably be Space Dandy ! *giggles*

Dear lord, A-1 should not be trusted with a shonen manga after Magi. gg
